Old motel. While it was basically clean, everything was worn out Turning the bathtub water on… a centipede type creature crawled out of the drain The room was smelly… stale mildew

Decent room, micro/fridge included. Clean and comfortable. Sadly wifi not working during my stay. Maybe a little overpriced, but still cheapest in area.

Average stay. Clean. No problems.
The room was clean. The bathroom and linens were clean. The bed, not so comfortable, but passable. There was a kitchenette, but no dishes or utensils whatsoever. So keep that in mind when you see there is a kitchenette. There is a train nearby. The parking lot felt safe enough. I would stay there again if I had to work in the area again and couldn't get a place closer.

Crackheads fighting in room,then in lot,drug deals going on all night, yelling moving furniture

Don't go here !!
The place was not very clean. They had bugs in the bath tub. Roaches in the room. Filthy place. Worst stay ever.

Not what it seems
We arrived early after a 14 hour drive and both of us were extremely tired. When I'd asked the man at the desk (of foreign decent) if it was possible for early check in with reservation and fully paid room all he could tell me was no, 3-o clock. Then once we slept in the parking lot until check in time and got to our room there was no sign that the room had been cleaned. To explain, there was a half burnt cigarette laying beside the bed. The toilet was broken (wouldn't flush without a new part) the vent for the bathroom was hanging by the remaining 2 wires. There was drug remenance left on the night stand. I was very dis satisfied when we decided to leave a day early and the man refused to refund us for our last day. Even tho we were well prepared to leave before designated check out time (10:30) we were ready to leave at 9am!!! Very terrible service and not even worth the cheaply priced room . I hope this helps other people to not have as terrible of a stay as me and my family had

The room was clean and spacious but we didn't like the WiFi service at all.

Price changing
My first stay wasn't bad. Had to be in town for two days. As a result I decided to book the room for my 3 week job I would be starting the following week. I was quoted $350/week for a 2 bed room. The day I arrived, I paid for the 1st week, was informed next week my rate is going to $420/week. I work 12 hr shifts at night. Sleep during the day. Continplating on weather or not to stay here. It's not that nice a place.

Not bad, Not good... get what you pay for...
The motel was exactly what I expected. Motel 6 like with a strong cig smell while being a non-smoking room. Clean room, CLEAN BED which is what I wanted from the room. Towels were VERY stained, though appeared to be clean by the smell and texture, just VERY grey and stained. But cheep for any room in the area, and a good place if you are looking for a place to sleep only.

Not the Ritz, but a good value
It was totally fine. A cheap option for last minute booking. Just over 30 minutes from French Quarter. Hotel was comfortable, clean, quiet. A/C or even a fan would be nice. I imagine it's a bit miserable in the summer.

Dissatisfaction
After taking 9 hrs to get to your motel, the first room was dirty, worn and no workable outlets. The second room had a table but no chair to do internet work. no requested coffee pot, no shampoo in either room. He sent us his view and I had to cancel and book him into another hotel, Days Inn. Unpleasant staff. Place is very dirty.

worst motel experience
Horrible, no iron, no iron board, no towel delivery and room is overpriced. No customer service and check out is early at 10:30 am.

Construction Workers Dream
My construction workers were very impressed with the hotel; it made their 7 day work week more tolerable. They aren't used to a place this nice. And they deserve it for all the hard work they put in!!

Definitely not worth the money
I have read other people's comments before I booked this motel. Usually I a) think people overestimate what they'll get for that price (after all this is no Hilton) and b) I don't leave reviews. In this case I just had to. First, I didnt find the motel as their sign says "Extended Stay" in large bold letters and then below it says in small letters "Laplace Motel". There is no lobby, just an outside window where you check in. The room itself was clean - however the furniture was absolutely run down. I had one light above the sink as the lights near above the beds and the main lights had been removed. The AC stunk so I turned it off. The fridge sounds like a sledge hammer when the cooling unit on. The toilet didn't work which I didn't notice until 3am though and then was so tired I didn't bother to call anyone. The worst though was the plumbing. Whenever someone in another room used their shower or ther toilet, it sounded like a freight train as running through my room. I didn't have a good night's sleep at all. This hotel was the most expensive on my trip through Southern Louisiana (I paid close to $70 for a night) and the most disgusting. Never again. Please listen to the reviews and spend a bit more to stay elsewhere!

The room has holes in the doors. Everything smelled like it was drenched in smoke. The doors wouldn't close unless you slammed it a few times.

Don't do it
Very bad. Started to say nothing, but thought the public deserved to know. Bottom of the barrel. They said be out by 10:30am. We were gone by 6:30.

Necessary Medical Trip- layover to Houston
Our experience at this hotel was horrible!! First of all we asked to be put us in a wheelchair accessible room! They did not and there was no elevator. When we asked to change rooms he told us that's what we booked and if we didn't like it we could go somewhere else! He finally changed his mind and got us another room. customer service new we were coming from the Train station and that the hotel was out if town, not to our request, and we had to beg cab drivers to take us back and forth because it was working with travelers who come from other states and do not know!!! When we tried to return the key the next mining we had to wake the deck clerk up!!!! The room we ended up getting was a down grade and I do expect a refund!!!!

Clean room for overnight travelers
Pros: Staff was very friendly, clean bathroom, good air conditioning, cable TV, clean beds. Cons: carpet was old and stained, needs better locks, lack of toiletries Location: LaPlace, LA. Drive is abou 20 minutes to New Orleans. Motel is evidently very old but has some renovations. Nothing fancy but comfortable.

It was horrible
My request is with hotel. Com please send any of your official to that motel and check the rooms. The blankets were very dirty, pillows, the bed is shaking, carpet on floor seems like never washed so infected, bathroom is like fungus on curtain, even the main door cannot be locked properly it open it self couple of times. So for one night I paid $197 which is like someone robbed me. Please take it out from hotel.com or improve these kind of motels.
