It was very cold in the unit and we couldn’t find a way to change that. We had to contact the owner on another matter and it took a while for her to contact us so we didn’t bother about the heat. “The cottage was exactly as pictured and a perfect size for the two of us. We thoroughly enjoyed this charming rental and appreciated the prompt communication with the owners. It was easily accessible to downtown shops when we decided to walk. Mahone Bay is a lovely town with several shops nestled next to the water. Highly recommend! A side trip to Peggy's Cove was a highlight!!”

There were a couple of candy wrappers on the living room floor and the dining room table was very dusty. The patio could have used a sweep as well.
