We had visited Dublin last year and pretty much done everything there was to do in this beautiful city and so took the opportunity of our second visit to spread our wings a little and take in the breath taking mountains lying only a short trip from the city centre.... Here's our exploration of the amazing Wicklow Mountains.
This spot is one of the acquirements of Trover! Before the Ireland trip, i saw a nice picture of the Lough Tay, where i haven't heard before, then added it to my list. Thus, we had a chance to see this beauty. I hope it will conduce to another discovery for somebody else, too. (: #BestOf5 #TroveOn #roadtrip

Lough Tay, is often referred to as "Guiness Lake" since the Guiness Estate lies at the end of the lake (not pictured). This was one of my favourite views while walking the Wicklow Way in Ireland. Read more: http://monkeysandmountains.com/ziplining-adventure-como-italy #blue
Nestled in the Wicklow Mountains of Ireland, Lough Tay is better known as Guinness Lake. The jet black appearance of the water combined with the white sand shores appearing to be froth resembles a nice cold pint. Follow the motorway up for a couple of nice viewpoints of lough.

Absolutely beautiful #garden! Costs a few euros to get in, spend a few hours #walking around #exploring all the different areas of the #garden. There is also a cafe there and a lovely store to buy some goodies. The house is absolutely stunning as well and has a lot of #history. Well worth it.
