Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft gerne weiter. Karen ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Auch die Lage ist gut, mitten im Ortsteil S. Cruz.

It was one of the best our stays. We felt like at home. Being in the heart of the old town and at the same time having such nice view of ocean is the best feeling. Karen made us feel like coming home with so useful advices and tips about local life. Big thank you.

We stayed for 4 weeks and it was a wonderful experience. Very clean and comfortable with a wonderful balcony facing the ocean. The property owner is very friendly and knowledgeable and available to answer questions.

Great location, away from the hustle and bustle of the city but not too far away. Wonderful host(ess). Friendly, helpful, gave good advice. My favourite was the patio where you can sit back, relax, and listen to the song birds, the ocean, and the church bells. Everything was great!!!

L’appartement est très bien équipé et offre une très jolie vue sur la mer. Karen est une hôtesse à la fois attentionnée et discrète. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié qu’elle nous fournisse de quoi nous préparer un petit-déjeuner le jour de notre arrivée. Lagoa est un charmant village duquel il est facile de parcourir l’île. Nous recommandons cet hébergement sans hésitation et souhaitons y retourner un jour.

This is an amazing place on many levels. The location is perfect to be able to explore the entire island and Lagoa is not very touristy and is quiet. The apartment is so beautiful. I feel like I am in a home that was created with love and artistry. All the furnishings, art on the walls and tile work makes it very special. There are two balconies so you can sit out and see the water and the sunset and eat. The host Karen is very responsive and also very interesting. We got lost finding the place and she responded immediately. I hope to stay here again if I come back. The place is quite large and comfortable. Don’t hesitate to stay here. I will remember Karen and this apartment as a highlight of my visit to the Azores. Thank you.

Super Wohnung in einer super Lage

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die Gastgeberin Karen ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.Die Lage mit Blick auf den Atlantik lässt keine Wünsche offen. Sehr gute Restaurants sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Kann ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Super Lage und Meerblick

Wir haben sehr schöne zwei Wochen in der Unterkunft verbracht. Es ist alles da was man braucht und die zwei Terrassen bieten je nach Wetter einen passenden Platz mit Meerblick. Die Lage ist perfekt um die ganze Insel zu erkunden. Supermärkte und gute Restaurants befinden sich in Laufweite. Karen hat uns sehr nett empfangen und uns bei Bedarf Tipps zu Aktivitäten und Restaurants gegeben.

a very nice month enjoying Karen's friendy hospitality, feeling at home, in a charming garden

It was a rare experience to live there during one month, and share Karen's home, with independance, quietness, and joyfull presence. Discovering the islands as well as enjoying the authentic beauty of the dwelling among marvelous trees and flowers in front of the wide sea.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour vu face à la mer. Les sons des cloches de l'église sont à l'appréciation de chacun. Il est bien placé épicerie, centre commercial. Hotesse très agréable arrangante souriante

Karen was a wonderful host, she is a great communicator, the house was clean, and had so many extra little things that made the stay that much better. A beautiful view of the ocean, and the backyard was full of lovely flowers and plants. I will for sure book with Karen again, and my fiancée and I are recommending her to our family and friends.

hier lässt es sich gut Urlaub machen

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit auf Sao Miguel verbracht und uns in dieser Wohnung sehr wohlgefühlt. Karen Esser mit ihrer Freundlichkeit, Hilfsbereitschaft und Umsicht für alles Notwendige, die "Ankunftsgrundversorgung" mit Butter, Käse, Kuchen; Wasser, Bier und einer frischen Ananas aus der Region und natürlich der wunderschöne, gemütliche, völlig windgeschützte Balkon und die perfekt ausgestattete Küche haben uns einfach gut gefallen.

Nicht schön aber auch nicht hässlich

Da das Wetter der zweiten Woche azoreanisch-aprilwetter-lich war, konnten wir zwar alle Aktivitäten durchführen, aber immer mit Regenjacke. Die Unterkunft war oldfashioned- urgemütlich. Lagoa ist nicht schön aber auch nicht hässlich.

Gemütlich eingerichtete Ferienwohnung, man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Zur Wohnung gehören 2 Balkone mit blick auf den Atlantik und einen Grillplatz im kleinen schön angelegten kleinen Garten. Die Lage der Wohnung ist ideal für Ausflüge. In der Umgebung gibt es mehrere Restaurants und einen kleinen Supermarkt, alles in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.Die Vermieterin bereitete uns einen recht herzlichen Empfang und gab uns tolle Insider-Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt.Wir können die Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen.

Toll 😊🌺

Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, gemütliche Einrichtung, mit Liebe zum Detail. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet mit allem was man benötigt. Die beiden Terrassen sind mit Meerblick, was wir sehr genossen haben. Die Gastgeberin ist super nett, hat uns beraten, welche Sehenswürdigkeiten unbedingt besucht werden sollten. Sie ist hilfsbereit und hat uns bei Fragen unterstützt. Wir würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder mieten.

Relaxing vacation

My husband and I traveled to the Azores and stayed at Karen’s place. We had everything we needed. She was a gracious host. Our flight to Ponta Delgada was late arriving. We rented a car and had a hard time finding her place as it was dark She met us at a location and we followed her to her place.
