Plenty of room to eat meals inside outside and on the balcony.The beds were okay but could use updating.Remember always bring extra toilet paper to your Portuguese stay as they do not provide extra

Wow! Loved our time at the Villa. Ana Luisa, our host, met us at the property and showed us everything we needed to know including how to use the appliances. The Villa was as advertised and actually more spacious than we expected. The outdoor areas were wonderful. We used the charcoal barbecue several times and sat out front in the morning with our coffee and used the terrace upstairs in the evening to watch the sunset and look out to the ocean. The pool was a perfect size with lots of loungers and umbrellas.The location was excellent. We could walk to the boardwalk, beach and downtown area easily. There are dozens of restaurants and cafes close by.Thanks Ana Luisa, we hope to stay again!

Very beautiful location, excellent value

My adult family and I had a very good five day stay in Ana Luisa’s place in Carvoeiro. The location is fantastic. There is a view of the sea from the master bedroom balcony, I think you could walk to the boardwalk in under one minute. The place was very clean, good amount of kitchen supplies. For a five day stay, we could have used a few more garbage bags and toilet paper as well as detergent which we had to buy our own supply of. The pool was clean. We had some minor issues with the doors locking behind us, so just keep this in mind when you are leaving any room including the balcony (I think this is just a European factor and we’re from North America and not used to this! Haha). There was air-conditioning in every room, which was great. Note that the mattresses were very firm which bothered some of our party, but others liked it. The upstairs shower had quite low water pressure. Overall, this place is excellent value and we had a very enjoyable stay!

A week in the Algarve

Ana greeted us at the door at the beginning of our stay and took us through the house. It was a nice touch. The house was clean and very nice, the pool was clean and was taken care of mid week. Ana did a mid week clean and provided fresh towels. The location is terrific for access to all local attractions, restaurants, the beach and walking trails. We would have given a 5 star rating except the beds were old and not particularly comfortable, the linens while clean were old and the shower head in the upstairs bathroom needs to be replaced. Small items that would make the stay perfect. All in a very nice stay.

Great Location

This property was in a very convenient location to everything….restaurants, shops, the Boardwalk. There was plenty of room to spread out and relax. The pool was delightful. There were a few things about the villa itself that kept us from giving it a 5 star review overall, but we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here.

Lovely Villa close to amenities

The Villa was really lovely and spacious - there was only three of us but there’s definitely enough space for up to 8 people. There were restaurants nearby which was great as we didn’t have a car. There are small supermarkets within walking distance too (one literally a few metres away) but we took an Uber to the Intermarche a couple of times - the local ones are great for every day essentials like milk, water etc. Ana met us at the Villa on arrival and showed us around which was nice. She was also brilliant when my mum had an accident at the Villa and she sat with us at the hospital until about 5:30am (basically all night as we got there at 11pm) having taken us in her car. Her son Ricardo also helped by driving us to an appointment for mum a few days later. They were both really easy to get in touch with and we really appreciated their help. Overall, despite what happened, we did manage to have a lovely holiday and would recommend the Villa to anyone. We are considering going back next year anyway!

Wonderful villa vacation

Just returned from Ana Luisa's impressive villa after enjoying a weeks very relaxing stay there. The property itself was spotless, spacious, well equipped and positioned in an especially nice area which was quiet but still allowed access to bars and restaurants literally within a few metres. The pool area was particularly popular with the family and Ana Luisa ensured it was maintained to the highest standard. Furthermore, the sea view from the bedroom balcony wasn't to be missed. Overall, faultless and highly recommended.

Great villa and location

The villa suited our stay perfectly. 2 families, 4 adults and 4 children. Location was perfect, short walk to the main beech and centre, resturants bars shops but also quiet in the evenings at the villa. The pool was great too. Ana was delightful and was always quick to reply from pre booking, before and during our stay.

Absolute Gem

This is a great villa, close to several restaurants and has very easy access to the board walk along the cliffs. Well presented and looked after. The owner met us on arrival and showed us round and was easily contactable during our stay. We hope to be back.

Great Villa in Great Beach Town

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ana Louisa's villa in Carvoeiro. There were only two of us but the place can easily sleep eight. We loved opening the up the terrace each morning to take a quick peak at the sea, which is just a couple of blocks walk away. Actually, you can get to several beaches within a few minutes walk. We ate lunch at the pool most days as well and there is a lovely garden between the house and the pool. Carvoeiro is a fantastic small beach town. Very picturesque beach with plenty of shops and restaurants. There is also a very nice coffee bar/restaurant just down the street from the villa that we utilized often - everything freshly made including things like orange juice. If you're up for a romantic, Michelin experience, we'd recommend O Leao de Porches which is just a short drive away in a nearby town - fantastic meal. Ana Louisa was the perfect host. She made finding the villa easy (VRBO address doesn't quite get you all the way there), met us for check in/out and addressed a minor problem we had with the hot water quickly. She was available almost immediately whenever we needed her. Thank you very much Ana Louisa - we can't wait to come back.

Superbe villa

Une superbe villa avec un parc arboré et des fleurs magnifiques. Une piscine super agréable avec ses bains de soleil, ses parasols et sans vis-à-vis. De très bons moments partagés en famille. Un espace barbecue bien conçu. La situation géographique est idéale, la plage de Carvoeiro et la ville sont à proximité, directement à pied, sans prendre les voitures (une place de stationnement dans la cour et dans la rue devant la maison pour la deuxième). Le site de rochers de l'Algar Sego est à 5 minutes à pieds pour de superbes photos, footings ou ballades sur les falaises pour découvrir des plages cachées et des paysages magnifiques. La villa dispose de 4 chambres, 2 au RDC (lits 1 place) et 2 à l'étage, une petite chambre (2 lits 1 place) et une très grande avec un lit double. Les deux disposent d'un accès sur la terrasse avec une superbe vue sur l'océan. Comme tout n’est jamais parfait, il y à 2 points négatifs. Un des occupants a trouvé son matelas très inconfortable (problème de ressorts). Le réfrigérateur n’arrive pas à tenir au frais les aliments et boissons pour 8 personnes, il faut plusieurs jours pour obtenir une bouteille d’eau congelée et pour avoir des boissons fraiches il faut les placer plusieurs heures au congélateur. Les points négatifs devraient être facilement et rapidement corrigés par la propriétaire qui est très sympathique. Dans l’ensemble un super séjour dans une superbe région, je le conseil pour une famille ou un groupe d’amis, avec ou sans enfant.

Tolle Anlage in bester Lage

Wir haben die Zeit in der Unterkunft sehr genossen. Es war alles sauber und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Vermieterin war sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Im Vorfeld unserer Reise hatte sie sich bereits um unsere Transfers vom und zum Flughafen gekümmert. Diese waren deutlich günstiger als die man vor Ort oder im Internet buchen kann. Die Lage des Hauses ist fantastisch. Vom oberen Stockwerk hat man einen grandiosen Blick auf den Atlantik den man in fünf Minuten zu Fuß erreichen kann. Den Pool haben wir auch genutzt. Dieser ist zwar nicht besonders groß aber für Kinder die schwimmen können zum baden ausreichend. Insgesammt kann man das Haus nur weiterempfehlen.

Great Villa Great Location

The advert for this property was a little sparse on detail, so I was absolutely delighted to find this fantastic property that fully delivered for a family with older children who need access to a bit more stimulation - It is labelled as Vista Do Mar in pics. The property consists of the main house with 4 bedrooms (the 2 upper bedrooms share access to the large sun terrace with sea-view), a spacious comfortable lounge/diner and 3 bathrooms, a modern kitchen amply supplied with everything you could need with an enclosed barbecue area behind the kitchen (where we ate most days), all areas spotless and tastefully decorated. The pool area is separated by the private gardens (beautifully kept with fascinating plants and flowers) and is accessible from the front or back. The pool area was well equipped, regularly maintained and incredibly private and relaxing with no discernible noise (other than our squeals of laughter as we played pool games) the pool is kidney shaped approx 12 meters and is 1.2-2m depth, the WiFi just about reaches where you have line of sight. The location could not have been better for us, 3 minutes walk will take you to the seafront and the boardwalks of Algar Seco offering incredible views of the honeycomb coastline. Go right and a 10 minutes walk along the coastal boardwalks will take you to Carvoeiro beach and town, turn left and you can follow the path over the headland for 10 minutes to the stunning Vale Covo beach (our favourite) with its amazing cave hiding a secret beach (a bit of soft climbing here, this route is not recommended for the very young/old or infirm), if you prefer following the road, a 20 minute walk will take you to Vale Centeanes, a larger beach with plenty of water-sports and activities. Our host Ana was lovely and made herself available whilst respecting privacy, A great accommodation far enough away to be secluded but close enough to have everything on hand and to not need a car. Highly recommended especially for families with slightly older children.
