  • This well-appointed apartment, "Sunny Duplex W/ Pool & Balcony by LovelyStay", is located in the center of Carvoeiro, a beautiful coastal village in the Algarve. It can accommodate up to 4 people and has free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and a fully equipped kitchen. With three balconies offering stunning views and access to a shared pool, it's the perfect place for families or friends to enjoy a memorable vacation in the Algarve

    This beautiful property is prepared to receive up to 4 people, comes fully equipped to meet all your needs and consists of:

    UPPER FLOOR:
    A child safety gate is installed at the top of the stairs for added safety. This level features the bedrooms, both bathrooms, and two of the three balconies.

    BEDROOMS
    - 1 bedroom with a queen-sized bed with large pillows and comfortable quality sheets and an ensuite bathroom.
    - 1 bedroom with a double-sized bed with large pillows and comfortable quality sheets.
    All bedrooms are equipped with an air conditioning unit for added comfort.

    BATHROOMS
    - 1 ensuite bathroom equipped with a bathtub, a large mirror and a toilet.
    - 1 bathroom equipped with a shower, a large mirror and a toilet.
    *PLEASE NOTE* The apartment is completely renovated, however the plumbing was built in 1991, so the shower drainage is a little slower. Please save water and help the environment - turn off the faucet while washing, so the water has time to drain.

    LOWER FLOOR / ENTRANCE LEVEL
    LIVING ROOM
    - A cozy living room featuring a Smart TV and a comfortable sofa—perfect for reading a book or enjoying a refreshing drink while unwinding after a long day.
    - Please note that the fireplace is not available for use. This room does not have air conditioning but is equipped with a heater for your comfort.

    KITCHEN
    - A kitchen that comes fully equipped with all the appliances you might need during your stay, such as a stove, a microwave, a refrigerator and freezer, a Nespresso, French Press and filter coffee maker, a toaster, a citrus juicer and wine glasses!

    BALCONY:
    - 2 balconies upstairs, each with access from one of the bedrooms. One of them has lounge furniture and a sunshade.
    - 1 balcony with a bistro table and chairs, accessible from the living area located at the lower level.
    - Enjoy the sea breeze in the sunny days and warm nights of the Algarve coast.

Relaxing place to stay

This excellent apartment has a great location in town, but is still quiet and relaxing. The proximity to local stores and restaurants was a nice benefit. The home had some great touches with a fantastic full kitchen. It was a true joy staying at this VRBO.

Great location and place!

We stayed here with another couple for several days. It’s a great place and the location and Carvoeiro were amazing! The check in process to upload documents was a little confusing and did not work easily, though.

Although this was a beautiful space with 3 different balconies to enjoy, I was surprised that it was ran by a company, Lovely Stays, and not a host who owns the property. I tried to ask a question on a weekend and an automatic response was they don’t work weekends, but gave emergency contacts and would get back to me Monday, which did not happen. Other than that, it is accurate to its photos and close to so many restaurants, shops, and the beach. It was spacious and had all things we needed. I would say not to use the 2nd bathroom to help reduce moisture buildup which then causes a smell. They have place two air fresheners to help, but I feel a fan needs to be installed.

Great location, clean, upgraded.

Great location - super close walk to beach, shops and restaurants. Nice have two separate full bathrooms and 3 balconies! Well equipped kitchen and they provide some starter supplies which is a bonus. Only two complaints - property management company doesn’t provide any info from the outset so we had to ask about everything (where to find the pool, how to access, etc). Would be nice if this info is provided on a sheet or in an email upon arrival. Also, the pictures show a view of the ocean - ocean is close but there is NO/NO ocean view from the unit (only view is of the parking lot)

A spacious modern condo with a great location.

We really enjoyed this condo! It was very large and spacious with 3 balconies! A nice outdoor seating area on the top. Modern decor. The beds were comfortable. It is in a fantastic location right close to the beach, within a couple minute walk. Lots of restaurants right outside the door. The pool is much larger than the picture shows and a great area to lounge in the sun. With a small kids depth pool as well. There were two spacious bathrooms but we did find one smelt quite strongly of mold/mildew, we chose not to use it. We did message the property about it but didn’t hear back. It seems many bathrooms in Portugal are like this. The other big bathroom was great though with a bathtub. We didn’t have any other issues in general. Didn’t find the communication great with the property but we didn’t need anything urgent.

Mediocre at best

I was not made aware of the importance of the travel documents required because when I reached out telling the property owner that I was unable to download the necessary documents, they never responded. When we arrived, we could not enter the building and we sat in the car for 30 minutes trying to figure out how to send the necessary documents. The sewage smell coming from the upstairs hallway and bathroom got progressively worse during our stay. One of the couches in the living area was so unstable it tippes to the ground if you were too far on one side. The dogs outside our flat barked on and on every time someone with a dog walked by. Fortunately, the owner brought them in at night. I know this is not your fault, but you should have checked in on us during the country-wide power outage because we were locked out of our building.
