CLEANING & SANITISATION
The apartment will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before every check-in. Cleaning material and products will be available in the apartment for your convenience. Additional cleaning and change of sheets/towels will depend on length of stay.

APARTMENT
This is a large well kept apartment block with 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Master Bedroom has 1 standard size double bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. The apartment has a well equipped kitchen and a dining/living area. It is comfortably furnished and has all the necessary equipment for a holiday. Fast & reliable Fibre Optic internet throughout and cable TV international channels. The apartment is located in a mature and well maintained gated condominium of 24 privately owned apartments with beautiful landscaped gardens and private outdoor parking.

POPULAR FOR LONG STAYS IN WINTER
This self catering apartment is very popular for long stays (28 nights or more) at a discounted rate from November to April. Included in the rate is cleaning and change of sheets/covers and towels every two weeks. If you wish to have additional cleaning this can be organised and extra charges will apply. All utilities are paid for with the exception of electricity which is paid as used through VRBO platform. The long stay discounted rates are for 2 people. Additional guests pay an extra surcharge.

MEET AND GREET
Either José or Carla will meet guests on arrival and give tips on how to make the most of their stay in Lagos. Thereafter guests will be given their privacy and space to enjoy their holiday but are only a call or text message away if they need any assistance or information.

GETTING AROUND
The apartment is minutes away by car from the beaches, town centre, marina, and supermarket, railway station & bus depot.
The apartment is approximately a 20-25 minute walk from the town centre and beaches. Downhill going into town and uphill going back to the apartment. If you're a walker then you could easily rent without a car if you wanted to just focus on experiencing and exploring Lagos. However, we recommend a car in order to explore the beautiful surrounding areas close to Lagos or further along the Algarve. For families with children, for hot summer months and those that don't like walking, we recommend car rental.

Lagos is easy to reach from Faro or Lisbon airport with direct bus routes.

ABOUT LAGOS
One of the most popular towns in the Algarve, Lagos is a top holiday destination and has it all! From history to culture, beaches and climate to a lively, easygoing and friendly atmosphere all year round. Steeped in history it was from here that Henry the navigator set sail on his discoveries along with many other Portuguese explorers.

A walk across the Marina footbridge will lead you into the heart of the old town where you will find a very quaint typical Portuguese town with narrow cobbled streets and many shops, bars and restaurants and entertainment. Here you can experience the raw authenticity of Portugal, the daily fish market, the local Tasca, the smell of grilled sardines and seafood toasting on the grill, tiled houses, the clear blue skies and the warm hospitable people.

There are many places of interest to visit such as museums, churches, historical monuments and a mini-zoo for the children. Activities are endless in and around Lagos and include boat trips, dolphin tours, fishing, surfing, diving, kayaking, golf and much more. Lagos is also very popular for hiking and walking trips.

CLIMATE
The Algarve, situated on the extreme South of Portugal, offers gorgeous sandy beaches and glorious sunshine nearly all year-round. With around 300 days of sunshine a year and idyllic temperatures averaging 14ºC in winter and 25ºC in summer - and rarely going below 10ºC during winter and reaching as high as 28ºC or 30ºC in July and August.

This property is legally registered with Portuguese Tourism and as such the owners are obliged by Portuguese law to register all guests, as is done in the hotels, with the SEF which is the immigration & border authorities.
