Family time

The property provided all we required for a comfortable and relaxing stay in a quiet location but within a short walk to beach, shops and a good choice of bars and restaurants would certainly be happy to return

Er waren een paar probleempjes: putdeksel zwembad stuk, bovenste tree zwembadtrapje zelf vast gemaakt, terrasdeur sluit niet; wisseling linnengoed pas de 10 e dag ipv weekend.Overall was het een prima verblijf. Dicht bij strand en restaurants.Helaas was er geen flexibiliteit met de uitchecktijd. Ons vliegtuig ging om 18.00 uur en als je dan om 10.00 uur uit je woning moet is dat geen pretje. We hebben gevraagd voor wat extra tijd tegen betaling maar dat was niet mogelijk terwijl de volgende gasten pas om 15.00 uur komen.

Perfect place for family holidays

Very nice house on two floors, perfect for family holidays. Nice and clean pool, 200 meters to the beach, all within walking distance.

Great villa with one off road parking space at the front. Big, spacious accommodation with plenty of storage. Nice sea view from veranda and the kids loved the pool (unheated so a bit nippy in april).Walking distance to small shops such as Spar, beach, cafes and bars. Lovely sandy beach. We would recommend Nah Nah Bar and Bar Habana for food close by. Went into Lagos twice which was really nice. Ate at Lazy Jacks and Shalimar. Both really nice food especially Shalimar (indian). A toilet door handle broke the first day but this was fixed within 24 hours of me reporting it.Would have been helpful to have had tea, coffee, sugar to get us started as arrived tea time.

ideal location

lovely villa in a perfect location, easy to walk to shops, beach, pubs and places to eat. There is a bus stop and the top of the road that takes you to Lagos. The villa is large and well equipped. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay again.

Vacation In Luz

Lines of communication were wide open and property was super accommodating. We were 2 couples celebrating a birthday in Portugal and couldn’t have asked for a better time. So close to the beach and delicious restaurants. All in walking distance. Location is super!

Spacious home in ideal location at beach resort

The villa was a perfect fit for our group. It's very close to the beach and within easy walking distance to a large selection of restaurants and shops. It also served as our base for exploring other parts of the Algarve, from Sagres to Faro. The home was very clean and good use was made of the pool.

1st class location... value for money... fab pool (the wall between children's and adult end was a great place to cool down but still catch the sun!... facilities excellent....provison of the room fans a god send! Just what was needed and close to everything!

Casa Merasol is a lovely villa and we did have a nice stay. However, we had some issues with the villa and had to contact Clara who was very helpful. Priai da Luz is a beautiful place and perfect for a quiet holiday. Our holiday was very nice overall but we were a little disappointed at the issues we encountered.

Spacious Villa with great views. Barbecue was very old and fragile- so perhaps that can be upgraded. Lovely pool but a bit cool for our one year old - heating would have been great and we would have paid extra for it if it was available. Property manager really helpful and found us a high chair really quickly. Would recommend the villa.

This property was the perfect set up for three couples and/or a family. We were 2 couples and it was perfect. A 3 minute walk to a beautiful beach, lots of restaurants and a fairly big grocery store all in walking distance. The bus system to Lagos was 1 euro and well worth the several trips we made to Lagos to visit different sites and boardwalks. The rental property was exceptional with a nice pool even though not heated. We had a rental car by choice and this allowed us to visit all of the Algarve area…beautiful!! We plan on returning within the next two years. I would recommend this unit to any family or up to 3 couples no problem whatsoever. A minor complaint if I may, would be having access to a small styrofoam or any type cooler for the lunches we packed everyday. Super Lage in Luz

Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in der Fewo, die genau wie beschrieben war. Sehr angenehm mit je einem Badezimmer pro Schlafzimmer. Sehr geräumig, schöne Terrasse, großer Pool. 4 Liegen vorhanden.

Lovely villa with quite a large pool and sun deck. The rooms were a good size and the walk to the beach was around 5mins. Lots of kitchen ware and cutlery. The TV was a little on the small size for the room but as most channels were in Portuguese it mattered little. Although the BBQ was on site it looked a bit flimsy so we didn't use it which gave good excuse to eat out more. Local shops and restaurants are close and the entire stay was great.

Quiet town of Luz

The property was perfect for what we wanted. Three women each having their own bedroom and bathroom! You can easily walk to just about everything you need. If you want a bit more action it’s a short drive away. The only thing I would say about the property is that it needs a bit of a facelift and better mattresses.

Schönes Haus

Das Haus war sehr gut ausgestattet und den Angaben entsprechend. Der Pool ist ideal für Kinder, um sich auszutoben. Zum Strand und zu den Cafes von Luz sind es zu Fuss 3min. Der Strand in Luz ist sehr schön, Felsenklippen dahinter mit verschiedenen Gesteinsfarben. Luz selbst ist ein sehr ruhiger Ort, in dem man alles findet. Wanderung entlang der Steilküste sind direkt vom Haus ab möglich. Gerne wieder.

Amazing Villa and Pool

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Maresol. The layout of the villa is great with loads of space and 3 bathrooms downstairs. The terrace upstairs is gorgeous with a large table for meal times. The pool is a great size and perfect for a dip with young children. The location of the villa is great too in a quiet cut de sac but very close to the beach and amenities that Praia da Luz has to offer. The only criticisms I could make are as follows. The ensuite of the master could do with being updated and the beds could all do with new mattresses. A great stay all round!
