Location
The location is great the view is fantastic. The place it’s self is very outdated. Price is right. Needs an all around cleaning from top to bottom. You get what you pay and the place is listed cheaper than all others Property owners is on the spot with communication. The unit has no door number. Fridge and light fixtures are rusted everywhere needs paint unit feels run down. It Is a great place if all you care about is a place to sleep.

Hi Brad Your comments were different from other guests who have stayed in the condo. We have many repeat guests who come every year. You did not mention the new bathroom remodel with the new shower and vanity and new iighting. As soon as you arrived you found fault. I answered all your complaints that you had while you were there and you seemed to be happy. Especially with a partial refund I gave you. I hope you are not so critical of everyplace you stay. Marge

Best View!
Loved the 6th floor ocean view at Lahaina Shores. All we needed was the fridge & microwave. Because there was no kitchen taking up space in the unit, it was much roomier than other units. AC worked great, parking was right out in front. Gorgeous lobby and helpful, knowledgeable & attentive staff.

Magnificent Views
The room had the most amazing views facing the ocean. We absolutely loved having the sliding door open (with the screen door closed) to listen to the surf at while falling asleep. The new sink/vanity is nice. The front desk staff could not be kinder. Pool, spa, exterior grounds and beach are super nice. As noted in the pictures and other reviews, the place could use some TLC. That didn’t bother us bc we didn’t hang out in the room much. What I didn’t like was that the microwave is on top of a full sized refrigerator. It was dangerous pulling out my mug of hot water for tea each morning. I’m not sure why there is a full sized fridge without a kitchen. Also, the refrigerator is unsightly as the exterior is covered with rust spots.

The bathroom shower has just been remodeled as has the vanity that you mentioned. I will look into having the rust spots from the ocean air painted. I am happy you enjoyed the outstanding view from our sixth floor condo. We had the rust spots removed after you left. Marge

Beautiful view!
The hotel was very clean, friendly staff and the vibe was very relaxing and peaceful. Grounds well maintained and pool area very inviting. Good restaurant right next door and easy walking distance to downtown Lahaina. Only downside was our room had no kitchen and not much counter space to prepare food. No where to sit and eat except on sofa or lanai. It would be nice if the lanai had a small table to eat instead of a coffee style table. Overall though we had a wonderful stay and you can’t beat the ocean front view! Would definitely stay again. Thanks Marge!

Piece of Paradise
The condo couldn’t have been in a better location! Right on the beach and walking distance to a popular beginner surf spot and the shops/restaurants. Having a pool/spa and a washer/dryer on the property was a plus! Parking was crazy cheap. We can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful Stay in Paradise
We had a great stay here! The view from the terrace was absolutely amazing. We sat out there morning and night. The check in and out process was super easy. Parking was inexpensive. We had everything we needed for the beach: coolers, beach chairs, beach towels, and floats. You are so close to the ocean that you can even hear the waves crashing with the doors closed. We loved that! There is also a hair dryer as an amenity, but did not see it listed. It was within walking distance to all the restaurants and shops on front street and a short drive to other towns. The beach in front isn’t the best for snorkeling, but we did encounter two sea turtles close to shore. Marge was also super with communication. Usually had a response within minutes. Would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable condo with outstanding view
Stayed at Marge’s condo for 8 weeks Jan-Feb. Room was very clean. Marge knew I was staying for an extended period so left me everything I would need. To be honest this unit isn’t as fancy and updated as some of the other condos in the building, but it’s comfortable and has everything I needed for my stay. This unit doesn’t have a full kitchen, it does have a full size refrigerator and microwave, but I eat out a lot and have leftovers. Has coffee maker and toaster for morning needs. The ocean view is the best and there are comfortable chairs on the lanai to enjoy the sunsets and a glass of wine. You can’t go wrong staying here.

A Lovely Stay
We loved our stay at Lahaina Shores! We enjoyed the beautiful pool and beach, with lots of shopping and food within walking distance. The room was comfortable, a great place to crash after a long day of exploring. Highly recommend!

Best view/location in town!
My wife and I stayed at Lahaina Shores back in 2018 in a different unit, which is why we decide to stay here again this time. We love everything about this resort, it's close to everything, food, marina, entertainment, you name it! The view from the balcony is incredible, we even saw a whale breach while having our morning coffee. on a side note, I was shocked to read a few of the negative reviews on this property, I can't imagine being so high maintenaced to complain about such an affordable slice of paradise, (to them I say, go ahead and pay 2 to 3 times as much for a resort, good luck matching this view.) Not only was our unit clean and beautiful, but also well supplied with coffee, plates, silverware, napkins, beach items, binoculars and even a ukelele for me to play (ish) on the balcony. We couldn't have asked for better accomodations, and certainly not for that price. Well beyond our expectations and we hope to visit again soon. HIGLY RECOMMEND!!

Not what I expected...
The bathroom are was in need of a make over...smelled of musty mold and mildew. Bathroom sink was slow to drain, got it unstopped and draining properly. There was an ironi but no ironingboard. Last 2 stays at this resort was very nice. This one lacked any living appeal. No kitchen. Bed was comfortable and ckean.

Thank you Lesa for your comments. Sorry to hear you were disappointed with your stay. Our 611 unit is advertised as not having a full kitchen. It is an oceanfront unit and is less expensive per nite because of this. If you wanted a newly remodeled ocean front unit it would have cost you a lot more per nite. We have many return guests who have been happy staying in 611. Marge

Enjoyed Our Stay
Highlights: Owner provided beach chairs and floaties, which was great. Full size refrigerator and microwave is great if you plan on eating all your meals at restaurants. Beachfront is fabulous, along with the pool and grounds. Plus you can walk to all restaurants in Lahaina along with a few restaurants in the 505 Shops, right next door. This unit is great if you had not stayed in another unit in the property previously. It is clean, gives you 4 pillows, but no more, 2 sets of bath towels and 2 sets of beach towels. This is what the private owner provides. You cannot get additional house keeping items from the resort. Bathroom is adequate, and bathroom sink is the only place to do dishes if you choose to try to reheat foods and eat in the room. If you have stayed in another unit in this property, please manage your expectations. The unit is a good place to stay, however if you have stayed in a remodeled unit in the resort you may be disappointed. Not a full kitchen. We had planned on grocery shopping and being able to cook in the unit. But with no kitchen we could not. All in all we enjoyed our 4 night stay, but were very happy to move to the other condo in the resort that had a full kitchen for the remainder of our stay.

Thank you for your thoughts. We advertise the unit as not having a full kitchen. We stated that there is only a refrigerator, microwave , toaster and some dishes and utensils. The price for our oceanfront unit 611 is a lot less then the oceanfront units that have full kitchens. A lot of our guests do not wish to cook while they are on vacation and this condo fits their needs. I am sure you paid more per nite for the condo you moved to that did have a full kitchen unless it had a Mountain View and was not oceanfront. You asked if you could stay longer than the 11 am checkout until your other unit was ready. I was happy to oblige. Marge

Amazing View!!!
Everything was as described. Resort staff is awesome and the location is convenient. The bed is super soft and comfortable. The view is everything!! You can watch sea turtles grazing from the balcony and the sunsets are breathtaking. Marge was quick to respond to all communications and always helpful. We will definitely stay here again!!!

Great location and clean property

Memorable 1-year Anniversary
This property was perfect for my wife and I. The price to stay at a vacation rental compared to staying at a resort is perfect for a couple like us. The property was clean, well maintained, and very welcoming. If what you’re looking for in your Hawaiian stay is brand new furniture and appliances, maid service, or an excessive abundance of fresh towels, then those may be reasons why you might be better off paying the additional money and staying at a resort. However, if you plan to spend your time on the beach, out in the water, or just enjoying the island as my wife and I did, then this vacation rental is a warm and welcoming place. The Lahaina Shores Beach Resort employees are all kind, and you have great access to the beach and to the Fremont street bars, restaurants and shops. The property manager is kind and communicative as well. For the price, and for the ease of booking/stay, this is a great option if you want to enjoy a great vacation.

The best place in Maui for the price
We loved our stay here. We stayed in this room 5 years ago for our honeymoon, and we came back to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. The room is comfortable, clean, and the view is outstanding!! The location is perfect. It’s close to everything, and you can walk out the front door and swim in the pool or ocean. The staff on site are very friendly, and Marge is very accommodating. Best location and view in Lahania
If you want the softest bed and the best view of the water stay here! Marge the owner, is a wonderful communicator and has everything you could possibly need. It is priced right and a 5 minute walk into town!

Great location, great host!
We love this condo especially this suite 611. The room is located high enough that we don't hear noises from the luau next door and people by the pool. The ocean front view and the sounds of the waves is very soothing and healing. Location is at downtown Lahaina, walking distance to best restaurants and stores. There's even restaurant, bar, breakfast place next door. The unit is pretty outdated, but it has all the basic things you'll need. It has TV, microwave, fridge, plates, utensils, and cups, coffee maker, beach chairs etc. The only thing that would need a little bit of improvement is that some surfaces and the remote control are very dusty or "crumby" probably the cleaning staff missed those spots. They have a cleaning spray in the room so I didn't mind cleaning those spots. The owner is very nice and responsive, the staff all over the building are very friendly. I highly recommend this unit and will try to book with Marge again next time we're back in Maui.

wonderful location
We loved our stay at the condo! The condo was clean and stocked with many items that made our trip even better! We had beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, and boogie boards. The view on the balcony was breathtaking. The bed was so comfortable and our host was great to work with. She was great at communicating with us and I would not hesitate to stay here again. It was so easy to check in and the property itself was stunning!

Perfect location and extra care
From the moment I made the reservation for my parents Marge was helpful and answered all my questions. When we arrived, her daughter took extra time and care to make sure my parents were comfortable and helped them settle in. The lanai was perfect for my father to sit and enjoy watching the waves. Great View
We booked the room for the amazing view. Room had beach chairs, umbrellas, and a small cooler which was so handy for beach days at the hotel. The side of the fridge was stained and the dishes were dirty when we got there. We had to ask the staff for a few supplies that ran out like tissues. Otherwise the view and stay was 5/5.

Always stayed nort of Lahaina, needed a car to get here. This time, no car, and within walking distance of everything, even for us 70+ year olds. Best vista ever in our multiple visits to various Hawaiian islands. Perfectly outfitted, very comfortable bed. Would give this place 6+ stars if I could!

Wow
The unit was spacious and comfortable. The area was safe and located at a hot (as in good) section of the island. I walked to dinner and enjoyed every minute of it. T.V was big. Bed was huge. The View was incredible. I would wake up and know that I was vacationing at an exotic destinantion which made me extremely happy. The host was the best. She was quick to repond to my messages and provided effective solutions to my inquiries. The parking was smooth and I felt safe throughout my whole stay. Just know that you will enjoy your stay. The neighborhood was lovley, I would walk back from Fleetwood's and no one bothered me. I will be back. It made me feel... wonderful. Such a delight.

Lovely view!
We love staying at Lahaina Shores. The view from this unit is awesome. There's no kitchen but they do have a full fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. We used the BBQ downstairs to grill things and otherwise made salads to compliment all the poke we bought at Foodland! We slept with the fan on and the balcony door wide open each night (we didn't need the AC) and the fresh, cool air and crashing waves were exactly what we needed. We used their binoculars to spy on all the boats and surfers. This unit isn't updated like many of the others but that didn't bother us. The bed and bedding was comfy. Thank you!!

Love Lahaina!
We really enjoyed staying at Lahaina Shores Beach Resort. Second time for us. Marge was always available when a few issues came up and rectified them immediately was sad to leave even after 3 weeks! Aloha.

What a view!
What a spectacular view from our room. We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was as described and was comfortable and met all of our needs. As mentioned, we loved the view and sitting out on the balcony and watching the whales. Thank you, Marge!!

Stunning Ocean View
Although there is no kitchen in this unit, there is a full size fridge and microwave. Suited our needs. The view from this 6th floor condo was stunning and we enjoyed many sunsets. Can't wait for next year! Brian and Patty

You cannot cook in our unit but there are 2 barbecues on the property for guests to use and tables and chairs nearby to sit on and enjoy your meal. You mentioned the view from our condo , the sixth floor is the best location in the hotel for enjoying the views. Looking forward to having you come back next year. Marge

Great Experience
It was amazing, the view the setting and just the overall experience, the bed was really comfortable and the room is just so cozy, plus you are stocked with lots of supplies to make your experience even better such as chairs, floaters, bodyboards, mats, and even a emergency kit. I’d definitely recommend renting this room again for sure!

Perfect location
I am a repeat renter for close to 10 years and love staying here. The room is clean, well stocked with the essentials and inviting. Once you open the door and see that view you immediately relax. Included in the room is a full sized fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, cups, glasses, eating utensils, boogie boards and floaties. The bed definitely needs a new mattress but other than that it’s perfect for us. The lanai has 2 chairs and a small table and overlooks the beach, ocean and a gorgeous view of the other islands. All you need is within walking distance with restaurants, a bar and the Feast at Lele luau right next door. Town is a short distance with the Banyan tree, restaurants galore, shopping, boat excursions and many art galleries. Already booked for next year. Mahalo Marg.

Great Location and View

Great view
I loved my stay at Lahaina Shores, the proximity to Lahaina town is an easy 10 minute walk to restaurants, shops & the harbor to go whale watching. The owner/host kept me informed right up to check-in and was attentive to a small issue with a slow draining sink. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Marge, for allowing me to stay in your condo.

BEST OF LAHAINA
Lahaina Shores Beach Resort is by far the best location for visiting Maui, walking the shops, seeing the ocean and sunsets, access to great restaurants and overall location. Being on the 6th floor was a bonus, great views, quick elevators and comfortable, inviting lobby. Close by parking and sparkling pool and hottub with private access to the beach all added to a comfortable stay at Lahiani Shores Beach Resort.

The place and view were beautiful!
I loved the location. I’ve been coming to this complex for years but this was my first time in this unit. The view was breathtaking, the accommodations were great, and I spent almost my entire trip at the beach in front of the complex. It was convenient, relaxing, and just what I needed for my getaway. Plus I think those were the most comfortable pillows I’ve ever slept on. 10/10 recommend

Great location
Great location to stay in Maui. Lots of food options within walking distance. Really nice beach and close surfing spot. Only thing I didn’t like was being asked to clean trash cans when I paid specifically for a cleaning fee. If cleaning is going to be required that should be outlined and be at a lower rate.

Amazing View With Essentials
Love Lahaina Shores, and being so close to town. Here is one with an ocean view room and all the essentials we needed. Clean & well kept with a great lanai, comfortable bed , sofa, refrigerator, microwave, towels, beach chairs, beach toys and more. Offered for a lower price than most waterfront rooms it was hard to refuse. Thank you Marge we will be back!

Hi David You described our condo exactly as it is and thank you.I know you will be back again. Lahainashores is a special place and the 6 th floor view is incredible.
