Kapalua Stay

Very nice condo unit. Clean well furnished and equipped. Beautiful ocean front view. Upstairs bedroom AC could not keep up with later afternoon sun resulting in an uncomfortably warm bedroom late afternoon to early evening. We would stay there again.

Delightful stay!

The property was exactly as represented and a truly delightful stay. The views are unparalleled - waking up and going to bed every day right at the coast was so relaxing. And yes people walk by on the coastal trail but it was not obtrusive. If you are looking for 100% solitude, I'm not sure if anywhere in Kapalua would provide that- it's a well-developed area, but not high-density by any means. This is the 2nd Kapalua Bay villa we've stayed in and we would come back to this unit. Front row views, comfortable bed, good kitchen set up, good internet, strong but quiet ceiling fans, and good A/C, ( just keep those great black-out curtains closed upstairs during the day).

Loved it!

This was a great place. Right on the water and large crashing waves into the rocks constantly. The ocean breeze (or wind) can be intense but had a stunning north view. The entire Kapalua area is awesome and we loved walking in the area. The 2-story setup is fantastic; the unit had all you need for the beach, pickle ball etc. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back again. Check in/out process was so easy. Thank you!!

Didn’t want to leave!

Zero complaints. The unobstructed views on both levels of the property are second to none! For those apprehensive about the air conditioning based on historical reviews (as I was before I arrived), don’t worry. Just turn on the ceiling fans and set the A/C units upstairs and downstairs to their lowest thermostat setting and highest fan setting. The interior will get cold quickly. It also helps to shut the sliding curtains downstairs and upstairs to keep most of the sun out. Otherwise, I’d definitely return (and didn’t want to leave).

Amazing Property with a beautiful view

This place is special. Tucked in right next to the ocean where you watch and hear breaking waves day and night. We got to see whales and turtles from the great sitting area in our bedroom. A perfect place to enjoy morning coffee. The cleaning lady was leaving as we arrived and she did an amazing job! Everything was spotless. The unit is very private feeling even though there is a walking path that passes the condo, and it is surrounded by other condo units.

Amazing view

We loved our stay here. The view was amazing. Everything was very clean and put together for our arrival. There were two very functional mini splits, one on each floor, they kept everything as cool as we wanted. The host was easy to communicate with and accommodating.

Lovely views and great breeze!

We arrived after dark. The code we were given for the gate did not work. I called the property manager and this issue was immediately resolved. It might be helpful to include a map of villa location. The villa itself was very clean and appeared as pictured. We kept the doors and windows open and the breeze was great! It was amazing going to sleep with the sound of crashing waves. There is a very heavily traveled walking path along the rocky shore in sight from the balcony. This path leads to a beach and the pool. Being on the second floor, this was not an issue for me. We cooked breakfast in the villa daily. The kitchen is equipped with dishes and appliances, but note there were no spices (including salt and pepper) available as have been in other locations I’ve stayed. The view from this property can’t be beat! We truly enjoyed relaxing on the balcony listening to the ocean sounds!

Beautiful view, poorly furnished with bad AC

It is too bad that such a beautiful spot did not meet our reasonable expectations. Positives; location and view. Negatives; poorly maintained unit. AC was broken and they put in a portable unit (saw other ones being wheeled in next door) for the first floor that sounded like a freight train. It ran the entire time. The wall unit we were told would be fixed and it never was. We were there 9 nights. Second floor never kept the place cool. Shower/bathroom had no AC or fan and was like a sauna. Poor ventilation. Poorly furnished unit; no coffee, and we ended up buying some. The stove had not been cleaned and we turned it on like a forest fire. We ended up cleaning it ourselves. We have stayed at Kapalua Bay Villas 6 times over the years. I would not return to this condo 30B2. The company who has the management contract to lease this should be embarrassed.

Nice and convenient location.

Beautiful property with an amazing ocean view. The location is very close to the Ritz Carlton and a short distance to a lot of great restaurants.The condo is very clean and looks exactly as described online. The condo comes fully furnished with all utensils, dishes, bowls and cookware. We were very pleased with our stay, and definitely will come back next time. Thank you.

Couple’s first trip to Hawaii

Very few places look as good in person as they do in the online photos. This is a place that looks even better in person. The views from the main floor and from the master bedroom are simply incredible. It was so hard to leave!!

Fantastic Property in Great Location

We had a wonderful stay at the Kapalua Bay Villas. The location was incredible (literally ocean-front). The unit itself was exactly as advertised and was very comfortable for the entirety of our stay. In particular, the kitchen was obviously recently renovated (a nice bonus) and equipped with most of the essential cooking tools; the bathrooms were high-end and stocked with great personal products; the living areas and lanais were very nice and comfortably appointed. Walking distance to Kapalua Bay, Oneloa Bay, DT Flemming, Ritz Carlton Resort area, etc. Overall, we were very impressed and will certainly book again when we return to Maui.
