“I have very mixed feelings about my two-night stay at Altnaharra Hotel. There were some huge positives: the staff were superb, the restaurant food was excellent, and the downstairs ambience was exactly what you hope for in a Highland hotel — open fires, comfy sofas, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. “House was nice and clean, stocked with some of the basics you like to find (salt& pepper, washing liquids etc). The hosts made contact and offered to light the fire for our arrival which we were grateful for having got rather wet in the morning.
