“This property blew my partner and I’s expectations away!! You think pictures do it justice…. Wait till you see it in person. Mountain Springs Cabin is where you’ll find pure tranquility. John and Mary have the place equipped with all your kitchen essentials, games, towels, FANS (this is a big one for me), and even coffee beans to make a fresh cup of coffee in the morning. It’s hard to find words to describe such a magical place. Wish we would have had more than two days here, that’s for sure!!!...

“We were so happy with our choice. The home was more beautiful and comfortable than we had hoped. The lake was beautiful, complete with a hot tub, finish sauna and a fire pit. A beautiful setting. We were able to have our dog with us. We all felt like we were at home. The house was exceptionally clean and extremely well stocked!!! The kitchen was amazing and we enjoyed cooking together. The owners responded to our questions immediately, we were well taken care of. Would stay here again!”

“This was an awesome choice and a very calm and relaxing area. It is a large piece of property and our pet had room to go out and run around a bit in the morning. Very clean and cozy room and the only suggestion I have is that a few hangers are put on the hanging rack and something to light the lovely candle that was sitting there. Loved this place and plan on going back in the future. Great host and easy to communicate.”

“This house and location are perfect for a family retreat. After a careful exit off the highway to avoid a pothole we were ecstatic at the secluded location with its riverfront and firering location, yet still close to town for a quick grocery pickup. Close enough to several hiking trails when we did leave the site.”

“We loved the property! Our family stayed here for our daughter's wedding at the Saltbox Barn. It was a great location, easily accessible and a perfect choice for our family. Comfy beds, awesome master suite and plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is fabulous. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck. Julie was great to work with and responded quickly when we ask questions! “We've stayed in many VRBO and AirBNB rentals and this one was unusual. It appeared to be owner occupied as the owner's food, toiletries, and clothes were all in the home. There is not a king size bed as described, but instead a full mattress and box spring on the floor. All of the bathroom sinks contained river rocks which was unexpected. These are things a potential future renter may want to be aware of. Parking was great and the neighborhood safe and quiet. ”

“This house is in a great area, with an older homes neighborhood that I thought was great. There are lots of games, toys and kitchen supplies for our large group with young children. “Really liked the property. Beds were super super comfortable. Just a couple of notes. One of the fire detectors was beeping when we arrived. And could not locate replacement 9 volt batteries. And when we used the oven it smoked the entire time we needed to use it and filled the house with smoke as the oven had a spill that had not been cleaned. The hood fan could not keep up with the amount of smoke. Overall a great stay.”
