“Beautiful home, walkable to everything in town. We would recommend eating at Port 104 and Kelly’s steakhouse. Loved the 3 season porch on the back of the house. The kitchen could have been stocked better. There were no Kleenex in the house and we had to buy toilet paper when we were there. The ice maker on the refrigerator did not work, but the freezer was stalked with 40lbs of ice. We really appreciated that. Beds were super comfortable. The back yard was adorable. “We threw a very chill bachelorette party for my cousin & this rental was a great find! The pool was right next to the house which was perfect for us. Beau was very responsive and accommodating - if we needed something he could provide it for us within minutes. The view was beautiful and we were in walking distance from all of the activities we did. Would definitely go back & will be recommending to others!”

“Overall this property served its purpose. We brought our own wood and used the fire pit in the backyard but the long grass was kind of annoying and maybe a couple of extra chairs would be nice. The bedroom with the glass door could use a blackout shade for sleeping in. The coffee maker doesn’t have an automatic shutoff so it baked the coffee all day while we were gone, not a big deal but couldn’t figure out what the weird smell was when we got back. Lastly, I thought the price was a little steep...

We were in walking distance to restaurants, small shops and the National Eagle Center. Condo was very comfortable. Enjoyed the many upgrades. Owner did a nice job communicating. The checkin process was seamless. ”

“My granddaughter and I stayed one night recently when we came to see Laura Ignalls birthplace. The tiny Alden house was perfect for us. It was clean, bed was comfortable and what I always like it had a ceiling fan.Chuck,Elan, Oscar and the chickens were great hosts. “When I first saw the place, my heart sank. Dirty and grungy and full of webs and bugs on the outside. But the interior was quite nice. I only noticed 2 minor things -- mop board below the toilet paper was dirty, and the vent fan needs to be cleaned. We had a good stay. Hot tub is perfectly functional. Easy walking distance to National Eagle Center, river walking paths, restaurants/bars. ”
