Location matters! I really needed a vacation away from cars, trains and planes. The quiet peacefulness of this home was remarkable. Everything about the house was wonderful, and Todd's communication really made it easy to enjoy our time. Looking out from the master bedroom to the lake is a one-of-a-kind experience that can't be beat. Cooking for my family in the gourmet kitchen was a pleasure. I brought eight fancy meal kits and they were a breeze to make using the wonderful equipment here.My kids enjoyed the extra space to relax in after busy days exploring the peninsula. very grateful that we got to experience the house, the beach, and the nearby communities! Thank you!

Everyone loved the beach house! Great layout to accommodate a variety of guests. It was the perfect place to spend time with family and celebrate our son's graduation. Todd was a great host!

I came to ski Mount Bohemia with some friends and Todd's place was clean, well equipped and a great vibe to relax and enjoy views of icy Lake Superior. Tap water was tinted brown due to the well. Todd did say it was safe to drink and a drinking water fountain is provided.

This property was a hidden gem! Such beautiful sunrises/sunsets and very peaceful. The property itself was very clean and spacious enough for our whole family. We will be planning on coming back in the summer!

This beautiful beach house was the absolute best one yet! Great for 2 and room for 6. Perfect for families, kids or just a pair of old fogies! We had 3 days and nites of gorgeous weather, and a perfect location to check out the Keweenaw Peninsula and all it has to offer. Just enjoying our coffee and listening to the waves was pure enjoyment. We would definitely return to this jewel if we return from the Lone Star state!

The property needs some "Finishing touches" to be an excellent one. A headboard on the master bed, adult size life preservers if you are going to have kayaks and paddle boards for use on Lake Superior, a kitchen faucet that doesn't leak all over the countertop and a water filtration system that can remove tannins. The water is gross!

Amazing Stay at a Serene Lake Superior Retreat! We recently stayed at a lake house near Lake Linden, nestled right on the shores of Lake Superior, and it was an unforgettable experience! The location is perfect—secluded enough to enjoy peace and quiet but close to local amenities and the charming town of Lake Linden. The house itself was immaculate, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The large windows provided breathtaking views of the lake, especially during sunrise. We loved spending our mornings sipping coffee on the deck and evenings by the cozy firepit. The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking, and we appreciated the little thoughtful touches like board games and a list of local hotspots to check out. One of the highlights was the private access to the lake. Whether you're into kayaking, fishing, or just lounging by the water, this spot is ideal. We even spotted some wildlife and took advantage of nearby hiking trails. The fall colors were just popping out, making it a perfect getaway for nature lovers. Overall, this lake house was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Whether you're looking to relax, explore the great outdoors, or just enjoy the beauty of Lake Superior, I highly recommend this place. We'll definitely be back!

We came up for a quick getaway weekend and the house was everything we could have asked for....it was clean, had enough beds for all of us, and the location on the beach was awesome. Our only complaint was we wish we had more time.

This place exceeded our expectations. Just unbelievable. Shared my old Tech memories with the Family. So much to see and so little time. The week flew by. The wild blueberries on property were very tasty every morning. The beach was amazing. The sunrises were spectacular. Hard to put in words the overall experience for the week. Thank You! btw, the wine was gone before we unpacked the first day. Nice touch. Thank You.

This is a beautiful modern house on a long, long stretch of golden sand beach. The house has tons of windows and high ceilings so you feel like you are outdoors. It is a two level house so is perfect for larger family or just a couple (one bedroom on the main floor). It’s minutes from a boat launch. There are also smaller inland lakes nearby. The hosts are very nice folks. There is a lot to do in the area in spite of the feeling of being remote. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Booked this place to propose to my partner and it was amazing! It definitely helped us relax and healed our souls. We miss it. The peacefulness listening to nature and the waves hit was just perfect. We were also able to go out and explore the rest of the UP which was much cooler than I had expected. I hope to come back to go rock hunting! Thank you so much for having us and letting us stay in your beautiful home.

Wonderful property and a great location for a family gathering. Not to far from Houghton and the University. The views of the Lake were amazing and had a sandy beach. The Lakehouse had everything you needed and was very comfortable. Definitely will be back!

Talk about a gem of a place! A perfect location for a peaceful couple of days away with my husband, although this house would be great for a family stay as well. The view could not be better, the house was cozy, comfortable with all the amenities, including wifi in the middle of nowhere for those pesky work emails. The furnishings are top notch! Amazing kitchen with everything you could ask for. The two things I worry about not having on vacation are a comfortable bed, and a shower with decent water pressure. This place had both. Todd was a very responsive, kind host. We will book again…..hopefully same time next year for a few more days:).
