  • Household Rules - must meet these to rent:

    The cottage has a smart TV that will allow you to sign into any of the streaming services you personally subscribe to. Please note, these services will require your personal login information and are not provided
    4WD and snow tires are essential during the winter months
    Departure checklist must be completed
    Garbage disposal is required following departure
    A supplemental information form must be completed
    The landscape around Twilight Pines and within the Northern Lights Community is hilly, please use caution around drops
    Please note that, according to the municipality's bylaws, all dogs must be leashed or tethered on the property when outside. Dogs are not permitted to roam leash-free.
    This cottage has a valid STR license with the Township of Lake of Bays; Licence # STR-2025-212 which allows for no more than 8 guests to be on the property at any given time during your stay. The Municipality requires rental guests to sign a Rental Guest Code of Conduct. It will be sent to you upon booking for electronic signature.
    Cottage water comes from a well and passes through a water softener.  Although it has been assessed as safe to drink, any water test is only as good as the day the sample was tested, so you may prefer to use bottled water for drinking, ice-making and teeth-cleaning; it is fine for cooking and bathing. Water for drinking is not provided.

    The upper level of the cottage accommodates three well-appointed bedrooms, including a charming youth room furnished with a single-over-double bunk bed, providing comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to six guests. This floor also features another four-piece bathroom, ensuring ample facilities for all occupants.

Everyone enjoyed our stay. The home was well equipped for cooking! Surroundings are beautiful and picturesque. The beach is nearby and lots of places to see by car. My favourite excursion was Oxtouge falls. Loved staying there.
