Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this property. The location was excellent with beautiful views of Mirror Lake, the beds were very comfortable, and the house itself was spacious and well-suited for our 8-person group. We especially appreciated the hot tub and cozy gas fireplace, which were perfect during an extremely cold winter weekend.The only minor caveat was that while the property manager was prompt and responsive, communication wasn’t always clear, and a few questions we had were met a little defensively.That said, we truly enjoyed our time in Lake Placid and at this home!

Excellent stay Family of 12 including two toddlers. This was our second rental in Lake Placid that was hosted by Ann. She is a remarkable woman with more energy than you can imagine. She was there to greet us and responded immediately when some issues were raised. She goes above and beyond to meet any need thst her guests have. The house is modern and spacious. All 4 bathrooms are modern and offer showrrs! The views are great and the hot tub and fooseball table were a hit. Plenty of room for yard games and the bbq grill on the covered porch was so convenient. I highly recommend this house and lake placid is a wonderful town. Please be aware that there are 3 levels w stairs in the house (clearly stated in the description) so definitely not for anyone w mobility issues. I would rent again. anytime!!! Thanks Anne!! The property is walking distance to the main town . The property parking has a limit of 4 cars. The house accommodates 12 people. A bit inconvenience to park 3-4 blocks away though it is in the parking area of the same owner. My recommendation: ceiling fan to the second floor bedrooms ( attic rooms) to circulate air . Remove the broken chair. Hot tub is questionably clean. The deck floor can use some dusting/ cleaning.

Great stay!

We had a great stay at the ski chalet. There were two families in our party, with 4 adults and 5 kids and there was plenty of space for all to be comfortable. The house is conveniently located within walking distance to the town and a quick 15 minute drive to Whiteface. Ann was great to work with - very kind and a pleasure to work with!!

Great Location for a family reunion!

Eight adults stayed in this very conveniently located building. We were able to easily walk anywhere in downtown Lake Placid, even though we were away from the busy-ness of Main Street. Ann, our host, was very responsive and thoughtful.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location!

We rented this property for a girls trip and had the best time. The home was absolutely stunning. A beautiful large covered outdoor porch overlooking Mirror lake was perfect for enjoying a glass of wine before a walk just down the street to the main area. If you have a larger group and are looking for a comfortable space to stay with the convenience of walking right down the street to all shops and restaurants, this is perfect!

Fireworks over Mirror Lake

This was our second summer staying in this home. The house itself is very comfortable and roomy. The location is great. Walking distance to the lakes as well as town. The view from the deck is beautiful and this year we had the spectacular view of July 4th fireworks.

Girls Weekend in Lake Placid

I cannot recommend this home enough. Spent the weekend here with 3 close friends and we quite literally had the best trip. To start, Martha, the homeowner, is reliable, informative, and so friendly. The house is incredible. Spacious, so much attention to detail, and adorable. The best part of this home is it is walking distance from the village and you get a gorgeous view of Mirror Lake, the Olympic ski jumps, and Whiteface from the covered deck. Martha met us at the house, walked us through, showed us everything, and then gave us great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. Bedrooms and bathrooms are all nicely done and so comfortable. Great weekend, cannot wait to book another trip through her again.

Wonderful Stay

Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebrating together in this beautiful home in Lake Placid! Everyone we interacted with was friendly, responsive and helpful. The Christmas tree in the house was a beautiful touch. We are all looking forward to coming back!

Excellent accommodations

This home has all the vacation needs met. The house has cozy beds, comfy clean couches and brand new modern bathrooms. A kitchen capable to cook up anything you might want. And the coziest gas fireplace I have ever experienced. Town and the mirror lake walking path basically 100 ft from the house makes this home an ideal location.

Great house

We were in town for a wedding and the house was perfect for our group. Very spacious for 10 people and the house was very clean. We were met by the host and she gave us a tour of the house, gave us recommendations, and made us feel welcome. Location was great- we walked into town for dinner. VERY walkable. Would recommend!

A Beautiful Home-Base for Your Lake Placid Experience!

This property is the perfect place to center your next adventure in Lake Placid or upstate New York! Footsteps away from the main drag, minutes away from beautiful hikes and fun experiences, and all with a great view of the titular lake and a hot tub to boot! The property was clean, check out was easy, and I cannot say enough how great the home was for hosting my party of 8 comfortably! I'll definitely look to rent this home again in the future, and you should definitely look into it as well! Thank you for an amazing stay!

Perfect house for a girls trip!

We had a wonderful stay at this house! 10 of my friends and I We were in town for an event at the Olympic Arena and this house was the perfect place to stay. Main street is right at the end of the street and you have everything you need there. Ann was wonderful at check in and the whole process was very easy. We all loved this house and would love to stay here again!

Absolutely perfect!

This property was perfect! We had a group of 10 and couldn't have asked for a better place to call home base for our 4 day trip for a birthday celebration. The house was beautiful and the property manager, Ann, made this stay even more enjoyable. She was beyond a delight to work with. The house was very clean, spacious yet cozy, and well-stocked with all items we needed to prepare a few meals and kick back and relax. The proximity to town was great and the hot tub was a nice added bonus! We will be back next year!
