Location GreatSpace GreatKitchen supplies OK, but not enough for a big group, we were 11Heating NOT WORKIING on lower bedrooms (3) because the baseboards are in 1 zone and the living room that stays warm; split units do not work. The problem was reported, we had to wait for a technician to check the split units (1st day didn't show and notice came late, second day I wasn't willing to lose my day again, but he showed up before we left) but it was not fixed which made for uncomfortable stay.Bedding NO ADDITIONAL blankets which would have come handy given the lack of heating in the 3 lower floor bedrooms. Even after complaining, nothing was offered to help make the stay more comfortable.Communication OK but if you have a problem after 5pm good luck, they might only get back to you the next morning.Safety the stairs' railing polls on the 2nd floor all came off as the installation is not properly done (top is too high up and polls are only glued). It was OK for our group but very dangerous with young children, elders or anyone using the handrail...Front door lock low battery message, difficult to turn the bolt and took us a few tries to get in. The problem was reported, and I was told "it works even without battery" - I didn't want to risk so we often left the back door open, but it was a bad answer and uncomfortable to have the house opened.Other: remote control batteries not all workIt would have been a perfect place, but it was not.

Great location in Lake Placid

Spacious accommodations. Lots of space to spread out and located a short walk from the village. Also a few restaurants and store even closer. There were couple small maintenance issues that could be addressed. Also, could use a few more dishes and cups, given the size of the place.

Excellent Home located in Lake Placid

A great home in the town of Lake Placid, tons of bedrooms, large living area, and great outdoor space. Location is great and just a short block from a cool restaurant and small market. Perfect was we could buy firewood across the street. Definitely, would stay again.

Broken sink, doors not secured on hinges, not clean

While the house itself was spacious, the house was unclean with a lot of dust, balls of hair on the walls, and a coffee pot clogged with old coffee grounds. The property manager was difficult to get a hold of and never reimbursed us for reducing the duration of our stay.

Great Stay

We stayed at the alpine lodge during memorial day 2024 and overall had a great experience. The location and overall space is great and we would definetely come back. There was only adults in our group and for an adult it was nearly impossible to sleep in the trundle. The twin bed is not really in a bedroom, but in between two bedrooms. So not ideal for a group of adults. Our group also likes to cook and compared to other properties we have stayed at the kitchen was not very well stocked (e.g. no bbq utensils, wine glasses, only 8 water glasses and nothing else, no pitcher, etc) Anyhow - that would not hold us back from using the Alpine lodge again.

Great Family Stay!

Comfortable stay for adult couples and kids during our skiing trip. We loved that the kitchen was stocked with all necessary items to make and eat meals as a family. The house also had items for a baby - crib, bouncer, high chair - which was very convenient. There were plenty of bedrooms for our entire family and the beds were comfortable, along with enough bathrooms that sharing was minimal. Overall, great find in a central location with a 15 minute drive to Whiteface slopes.

Guys trip

We stayed with 10 guys and we had a blast. Property was clean, beds comfortable and well equipped. The owner ensured there was plenty of firewood, toilet paper, paper towels, pots/pans etc. Overall a wonderful experience I would definitely recommend.

Great Home...Super Gross Cleaning

So this home is really nice. It's well appointed, and the location is ok but they don't show that the driveway is small and is on the main road so be aware of that. The home is set up well for a group, there is AC in every room that works really well and big bathrooms. With that said, the cleaning of the unit was totally disgusting and almost made us want to leave on arrival. 1- None of the sheets were clean, there was hair, dirt, etc..in each bed. Totally gross. 2- There were standing pools of grease on the deck from the grill, and all the chairs with filthy and stained one of our friend's clothes when she sat down. 3- The kitchen sink totally leaked. To their credit, they had it fixed immediately, but the sink was completely broken, the water was running right through it onto the floor! 4- They have a dumpster on site that was just disgusting. It was full of maggots, smelled up the whole back yard, was not cleaned out the enite time we were there. Its a shame, the place is great, but whoever is managing it is doing a crap job at keeping it ready for renters. As we paid a cleaning fee, that is even more frustrating as what is that fee going towards as clearly it's not getting done between rentals. We would not stay with Lina again unless we had some assurances on hygiene, it was so gross. With everything going on, to have dirty sheets on beds is just unacceptable, much less a totally broken kitchen sink and weeks-old trash lying around. yuck.

All the conveniences of home

Great location , close to mirror lake snd downtown Lake Placid . Not far from skiing at Whiteface . Open layout works great for large groups . Everything is supplied from sheets snd towels to shampoo and conditioner! Lina does a Great job communicating! Overall a great experience!
