Hermosa casa de registro (Ninja), para 12 personas

Nueva casa de madera en un entorno precioso, con un arroyo que atraviesa la propiedad. Justo enfrente de la Courtyard by Marriott hotel en la entrada directamente desde la carretera principal, pero aún lo suficientemente lejos para no oír el tráfico.

Este espacioso 4 dormitorios y un altillo y 2 baños casa puede alojar cómodamente 10-12 personas. Tiene un loft espacioso piso de arriba con un sofá cama doble y 4 habitaciones bien amuebladas (Planta baja: 1 dormitorio con una cama doble, 2 dormitorios con cama de matrimonio, cuarto de baño completo, segundo piso: 3 dormitorios con una cama litera (doble -más de dos) y una cama de matrimonio, 4 dormitorios con una cama litera (doble-más del doble), cuarto de baño completo. En resumen, las 4 habitaciones pueden alojar cómodamente a 11 personas y el sofá-cama adicional pueden acomodar 1 invitado más.
Este es un lugar perfecto para los amantes de la naturaleza en un lugar apartado y tranquilo, pero todavía están en poca distancia a pie (quizás unos 20 minutos a pie o 2 minutos en coche) de la calle principal.

Had a great stay! House was clean, comfortable beds and very close to pretty much everything in the Mirror Lake area. No AC, so be prepared in the Summer. Would definitely stay there again.

Home was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a 3 night stay. The location was great, only 3-4 minute drive to Main Street, yet far enough away where it was both quiet and private. Having 7 beds with two families with a total of 9 guests was great and spacious to fill our needs. Also stayed in August which was no problem as home temperature stayed comfortable throughout the day. Would definitely stay here again!

Lake Placid Nordic skiing visit

Everything about this property was near perfect for our Thanksgiving training camp. The location was great - close to downtown but only 10 minutes from skiing. We rented both homes so we had plenty of room and enjoyed being able to visit the other house without driving. The homes were very clean and had everything we needed for our 5 day visit including laundry! The beds were numerous and very comfortable. We enjoy cooking after skiing and the kitchens were well equipped. We definitely hope to stay here again when our travels take us to Lake Placid!

Nice little cabin

Overall our stay was great, the bedrooms were a good size and the location is very close to both Main St and also Whiteface Mountain. There is not a huge amount of shared living space compared to the number of people that the house sleeps. There is a huge unfinished basement if they do some work to heat that and add some ping pong/pool tables it would give the house more space. Kitchen was well equipped, parking is ample overall a great house we would stay again!

Nice getaway...close to town

Overall very pleased. Only one issue. People walk down the road in front of the cabin. Is this a private driveway or a right of way?

Great location nice place

Located just away from the busy part of town but close to everything. Walked to many places but we like to walk. Great food Nearby. Place was clean and well stocked would stay again!

Definitely recommend and likely to stay again in the future.

Everything was great and communicating with owner was simple. Another bunk bed or sleeping options in huge basement woulda made it perfect, but no complaints and certainly recommend to anyone looking for a Placid getaway!

Absolutely awesome!!!

The home is clean, comfortable, and absolutely accommodating! We loved every minute of our stay and hope to come back next year. The town is beautiful and definitely a wonderful vacation.

Log Cabin

The log cabin is very spacious but cozy. It felt warm and inviting when you walked in the door. It is conveniently located among all the popular venues and Main St. It is off the road and therefore you dont hear much of the traffic. The owner is very accommodating and quick to answer questions and deal with any concerns we had. There were only 5 of us but could accommodate 10. Overall it was a great place to stay. Many thanks!

Great home base for my mom’s 60th birthday

We stayed at lake placid to hike nearby Mount Marcy for my mom’s 60th. The house was great - and communication with the hosts was seamless. The management of garbage is the only note I’d say needs improvement - the containers aren’t closed and were affected by wildlife which caused quite a bit of litter surrounding the area.

Home base for ADK hiking

Great home base for our ADK hiking trip. The large family room was great for gathering at the end of the night. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Only negative were the fruit flies upon arrival, caused by a rotten banana left on the top of the cabinets, not found by house cleaning. House is tucked away from the main road, nice and quiet. You can walk into town on a nice day.

Great escape

The house was exactly as advertised. Very comfortable beds, plenty of room and you really hear nothing when you are inside which was awesome. Had everything we needed! Great host as well…very responsive and helpful leading up to our stay. And since everything was as expected, no need for any mid-week assistance.

family re-union

Seven of us stayed in this log cabin for a family reunion. It was spacious and comfortable. The house had plenty of space for us to host two family dinners, including 10 more family members. We were also there to support our brother in law who completed his 4th Iron Man. The location was perfect. We were right along the route, but set back.

Great place for all ages

This was a great place for our family of grand parents, adult children and grandchildren to stay! The large kitchen/dining and living space gave us so much room to be together. The only down side is the outdoor space (driveway and tall grass) which was not useful. The porch is large and we used that a bit.

A Happy Retreat!

Our stay at Sam's place was just what we needed. The place was immaculate. We had to ask Sam a question on our first day, and he immediately got back to us. We felt safe and secure. Highly recommend!

Peaceful getaway in the heart of Lake Placid

We had a wonderful time staying here. The home was spacious and close to Lake Placid, but felt secluded from the main road. We loved the wrap around porch overlooking the stream.

Very nice house

Nice, big house. Great for a family. The driveway is a bit tough to navigate especially with snow, which we were very thankful for! Very close to town, about 3-5 min and easy drive to Whiteface, about 20 min.

Accommodating house ,not clean

The house was accommodating for a family of 10. Rooms and bathrooms were a good size. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils and non- parishables. All appliances worked perfect and it was in a great location!! The house was not clean. The fans,lights and blinds had months/years of built up dust on them. The bathroom’s vents were rusted from urine and the groat around the bathtub was dirty. The island was sticky and needed to be scrubbed before preparing food. We had to go to the store and purchase Benadryl because we were all allergic to the dust in the home.
