Thanksgiving at Lazy Lake House

This was our second time at the Lazy Lake House and can’t say enough good things about the property and house. Perfect spot and can’t wait to be back.

Perfect Place - Great getaway

We loved staying here, everything was perfect! The beds were super comfy and very nice large shower!! Great back patio (however we didn't get a chance to hang out there) Great little local restaurant Dock 633 close by. We would absolutely stay here again!!

Great little escape!

The lake cottage is great! The layout of the house for relaxing was amazing! The dock and items provided to play in the water was above expectations!! Great stay!

Summer Vacation

My family & I really enjoyed our stay here. Kelly was available the couple of times we needed to contact her. The property is clean and well maintained. The water is clean and the swimming there is nice. I would recommend staying here.

All around excellent!

Great stay that will not disappoint. Everything is first rate fantastic 👍. House is modern , clean and has a wonderful layout. Lake is clear, quiet and beautiful. Host is extremely helpful. Loved everything about this place.

Quick Getaway

This is a very lovely house with all the comforts of being home! We enjoyed being indoors after a fun filled day of being outdoors and having fun on the dock and in the water! Kelly was a wonderful host! Hope to visit again!

Perfect Lake House

This lake house is perfect, all you need is your clothes and food. The house is fully equipped with everything you need. It’s beautifully decorated and very modern. Kelly was very easy to communicate with and very helpful. She’s a great host ❤️ Can’t wait to stay again next year.

Perfect family vacation

This house was the perfect choice for us. It was clean and updated. Had all the amenities we needed and just perfect for us. The property owner was very communicative and was super responsive. Location was also perfect for us since we rented a boat from Lake June Pontoon. Highly recommended.

Annual Birthday Getaway!

This is our 3rd year traveling from Fort Myers to Lake Placid to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was our first time staying on Lake June, and it did not disappoint! The weather could have been better, but the back patio is large, and plenty of space to hang out and watch the storms roll through. We enjoyed this house and would love to come back sometime.

Amazing!

Kelly’s home was wonderful and she had thought of everything….from spare toothbrushes and razors to dog bowls and dog shampoo. It was as if she had been living there until the day that we checked in and then she left and trusted this beautiful home to strangers. Listening to the water was so soothing and the security around the house was great too.The Lake Placid area was so nice and the pace in the downtown area was perfect. The farmers’ market every Saturday was fun and we won’t hesitate to come back.

Superb Stay, Superb Host

Everything about this place says relax and enjoy. We didn’t want to leave. Well equipped, very private, and beautifully renovated. Conveniently located to everything you might need. Kelly went out her way to accommodate us early and the communication was threat from start to finish. We will be back and we already have highly recommended this lovely property to many of our friends.

Lake June getaway

we had a magnificent time at Kelly's home in lake placid. while the weather wasn't the best, it didn't detract from our enjoyment at her home. Kelly's was readily available for any and all questions and she obviously takes pride in her very nicely appointed home. We plan to return soon!!

Our favorite lake house!

Our family has vacationed at various houses for many years around Lake June and this is our favorite by far! The home is very cozy, bright, and comfortable with all the amenities to make it a home away from home! The owner has thought of all the extras and details. Communication was impressive and check in and check out was a breeze. We cannot wait for our next trip and days spent on the dock, in the clear swimming area, or on the impressive sunroom reading a book or playing games with the kids. 10 stars!

Lake Life is the Best!

Peaceful and relaxing is what you get at this lovely lake home! The interior of the home is beautifully decorated and generously stocked with incidentals. Our favorite spot was the large screened porch where you can play cards, shuffleboard or just enjoy the view. Out your back door you get a dock and clear water with a sandy bottom that is perfect for playing in the shallow water. Go to the far end of the dock and you have the perfect view for sunsets! There are several great places to have supper Dock 633, GC Steakhouse and Jaxson’s. Our dog Weaver had a wonderful stay also. Fenced yard and plenty of places to explore. We loved our stay and would love to return next year! Toni G.

Perfect 4 days on the lake

This cottage was absolutely fantastic for our family. The layout was perfect for our two young girls, myself and my husband. It was clean, cozy, comfortable and had all the amenities. The screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee, dinners and board games. We spent most of the time on the dock though! The weather was perfect, no bugs (which I was happily surprised about!), and gorgeous sunsets and the full moon was stunning. We caught a couple fish off the dock and enjoyed the rope swing or just jumping in the water. We rented a pontoon boat from Lake June Pontoons which was so much fun and a very easy process. I can't say enough good things about our experience! It was so quiet and peaceful. I can't wait to go back!

Awesome place to stay

We loved staying in this home! The cottage was gorgeous inside and out. Kelly stocked it very well with everything we needed and then some. Complete with a well stocked kitchen, beach towels, coffee, shampoo, soap, and even extra toothbrushes and razors. We loved the addition of the outdoor shower. The yard was fenced in and it was very private and quiet. We brought our dog and felt very safe letting him out because it was totally enclosed. She had two kayaks and a paddle board that we really enjoyed. The house has a long driveway that we could easily back into and it’s is positioned in a great location that we were able to get in and out of easily. We loved the house, and made many fun family memories we’ll cherish forever. We’d love to stay here again. Kelly was a great host. Thank you!

Simply perfect

Just can’t say enough good things about Kelly and her Lazy Lake House! We met Kelly by chance after a reservation being canceled 2 weeks before our trip left us in a panic! Kelly really came through for us! She is such a caring person! She even let us move in a day ahead of schedule! And asked that I let her know we got in safely any time of the night. (We got in around 3am due to a late flight!)The house is a perfect lake house! Spotless, the comfiest beds, and absolutely everything we needed! All bedding, towels, kitchen gear, kayaks, etc! Kelly even left toothbrushes, razors, and COFFEE for us to start our day! The teens loved the lake for fishing and swimming! The dock and chairs for sunbathing! They learned to play shuffleboard! The cute and friendly town and it’s Main Street(including open air farmers market on Saturday)! The waffle iron and gas grill kept them happy and full! I enjoyed the crystal clear, sandy bottom lake and amazing sunsets! (Hot outside shower was nice!) Great town to rest and recharge! Quiet and friendly but a few short(and easy to drive) miles into town and you have grocery stores, shops, and restaurants! Just a beautiful place that few have heard of! Even a nature preserve with easy walking trails and a sandy beach! Got to see our first armadillo! Just loved this little town and the Lazy Lake House! Can’t wait to go back!

One Word - Perfect

I’m so happy I booked this place. It’s a new listing so I didn’t have any reviews to read. Let’s start with the house. It’s way better than I expected. The pictures don’t do this place justice. The owner did a great renovation. Everything looks new. I can’t decide if the outdoor shower, or the shuffleboard table was my favorite part. Next is the location. I didn’t even know Lake Placid existed. It’s a hidden gem. From sunup to sundown the lake is awesome. Walk out on the dock and relax, sit on the porch and relax, everywhere is relaxing! Also I walked to a decent local restaurant (Dock 633) down the street. There are several local restaurants close by, Mortys Restaurant downtown had great food and atmosphere. Finally the fun, we used the kayaks provided to get around the lake. It was a workout, but worth every minute. Kelly also had a paddle board available. I can see this place being a blast in the summer when the water is a little warmer. I fished right off the dock. Couldn’t have had more fun. Overall, I will be staying here again. It was a great weekend trip. The owner was very thorough and thoughtful. She kept in contact through the trip. I usually don’t stay at one place twice but this house is so nice I’m coming back this spring. Thanks for the awesome stay!
