The Chalet at Jay es un refugio privado, tranquilo y acogedor ubicado en los altos pinos y abedules de las montañas Adirondack.

Toda la propiedad duerme aproximadamente 17 personas. El Chalet individual de 3200 pies cuadrados tiene un apartamento separado estilo cabaña, que figura como Pine Loft en Jay Chalet y tiene capacidad para 4 personas con una cocina separada, lavandería y baño completo. El lado grande aparece como el Chalet principal en Jay y tiene capacidad para 13 personas. La casa principal cuenta con un área de comedor de cocina abierta, un acogedor Den con chimenea de leña, 2 baños completos y 4 habitaciones y lavandería privada, así como una terraza acristalada privada con una cama doble de cuero extraíble y una cama grande de cuero en la zona principal sala.

Nuestro hogar lejos de casa se encuentra al final de un tranquilo callejón sin salida y tiene algunas vistas a la montaña. El Pine Loft en Jay Chalet tiene calefacción para monitores y una unidad de aire acondicionado portátil para mantenerte fresco en las noches de verano. Sin embargo, ya que el Chalet está en lo más profundo de los árboles, lo hemos visto muy fresco en los días de 85 grados. La casa principal tiene calefacción de zócalo.

Sea nuestro huésped y explore la propiedad y las montañas tranquilas. La propiedad se encuentra a 10 minutos de Whiteface Mountain, a 4,7 kilómetros de Wilmington (aproximadamente 8 minutos) y aproximadamente a 25 minutos de Lake Placid. ¡También estamos muy cerca de Montreal, Vermont y de tantos lugares interesantes que ver y cosas que hacer!

Fun and great value

We rented both places, and our group had a great time. The house is clean and spacious, with plenty of nooks and crannies for a lot of people and things. We used one of the grills and the back fire pit without any issues.

Great location and very comfortable

Our family stayed at the chalet for the second time. The upgraded kitchen was beautiful. The owners are quick to respond to any concerns. We truly enjoyed the cleanliness and comfort of the place and look forward to staying here again.

perfect location in Adirondacks!

This property afforded a perfect day in the Adirondack mountains for our extended family weeklong getaway. Quite spacious, more space than is really visible from the pictures. Both the joining properties offered plenty of room for our four family units with 12 children combined. We found the inside clean. Beautiful newish carpet. Nice furniture. Clean linens. Excellent washer and dryer. Beautiful bathrooms. Nice kitchen adequately stocked. We did find that the outside could use some care. We had to perform some of our own cleaning around the doorsteps, which were piled with leaves, dirt, pinestraw, and the grills were quite messy. Yard furniture was messy and some broken. But this did not detract from our experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better location as far as ease of access to hiking, the Ausable river, Jay, Wilmington, Lake Placid, Ausable Gorge. Very short drive to so many excellent opportunities. Plenty of opportunity for adventure in the area. Would definitely come back. Hosts were kind and great communicators. Price was one of the best in the state. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!

Wanderful Mountain Gateway

My group of friends had a wonderful time at the property. Everything from the booking to checking out was a great experience: from accommodating hosts who always responded promptly to my inquiries, to the house itself that was beautiful and super comfortable for a guitea large group of 10 adults. Also a great location - so close to High Peaks and Lake Placid! Thank you Marty and Melissa for letting us stay at your place! We definitely be back in the future!!!

Great quickly place

We enjoyed the stay here. Very nicely design and enough space for 17 people. I really like the separate one bedroom condo and I probably go again only to book that separate Pine condo. Definitely I will recommend other and will go there again.

Pictures Do Not Do The Property Justice

My family and I traveled up to Lake Placid to ski and celebrate a birthday. Everything was as expected, with the exception of how nice things were. The property has def been renovated, so the pictures may not be 100% accurate, but that’s a good thing, right? Def would consider coming back.

Great Adirondack Chalet

Very nice chalet. 6 comfortable queen size beds in 5 rooms, plus several pull out couch beds. Well equipped kitchen. Clean and some nice Adirondack decorating touches. Well worth the price

Amazing Hosts and Rental

The hosts are incredibly nice and great to work with. They make check-in and check-out processes easy to follow and clear. Their rental is very nice and has new carpets! We have stayed here several times in the past and we will continue to in the future!

I do not recommend this rental

The rental needs new bathrooms, new floors, better lighting, and a DEEP cleaning. The shower curtain was mildewy, the kitchen/dining carpet was stained to the point of scurvy, the house smelled of mildew, the garbage can was stinky and dirty. I could go on. The cleaner needs to do a better job, although the needs go beyond a thorough cleaning. The best part were the beds.

Beautiful House, Great location, amazingly clean and hospitable

Loved everything about this house. Melissa and Marty are so responsive and go the extra mile. Plenty of space and so quiet, amenities are amazing as well, provided soaps and shower things. Plenty of extra linens and fire pit and many chairs for outdoor relaxing after a long hike. Water pressure and heat is amazing and relaxing! Nothing get cheaply done in this house, 11/10 would stay here again.

Great place for a couple friends to stay

Spent time skiing at whiteface over the weekend. Glad to come home to a nice place with several bedrooms to rest up in. Kitchen was great for cooking big meals and eating with a group of friends.

Gorgeous and Peaceful

Marry and Melissa were very easy to communicate with throughout the booking process. Their listing is accurate and so clean when we got there. The area is beautiful and close to lake placid and mirror lake. We went in the summer, but I’m sure it is beautiful in fall/winter as well. Thank you Marty and Melissa!

Great stay

Had a great time at this Chalet. Was bigger than expected and its a beautiful home. Only a 10 minute drive from Whiteface mountain and about 20 minutes from Lake Placid. Overall we had a great time and definitely will be back!
