The lake is very small, quiet with trees all around, very pretty but not for swimming. Appliances work well, The sun porch is nice and the gas outdoor fireplace is also nice. Beautiful location and home, lovely stay!

The house had everything we needed, especially the kitchen!! Loved all the outdoor seating and the porch. The property manager acted immediately on an issue. We look forward to another stay!

Wonderful Property

We loved this property. The house was very nice and updated. Beds were very comfortable. And the beautiful 3 season room was so lovely with great views of lake. The lake was very clear and clean and the small sand area by the water was perfect for our young granddaughter. It is a small lake so very peaceful and we really appreciated the kayaks and paddle boat.

Excellent Home

It was an excellent vacation home. Our only issue was it was not light enough outside at night. Especially from the house to the lake. But very nice place. Would go back again.

Loon Landing

It was fabulous. The owner pays attention to details and quality. The area was very quiet and peaceful and it was a treat to enjoy mother nature. I enjoyed being outside from morning coffee until night time at the firepit. We were sad to go home.

Wow, a beautiful property!

Loved our stay at Loon Landing on Camp Twenty-One Lake! The property is situated on a peninsula with great views. Cozy cabin that was perfect for our group of four. Very clean cabin with all of the necessities. The owners were incredibly responsive and gave some great recommendations of places to eat and things to do in the area. We came in the winter months but I can only imagine how much fun this place is in the summer as well. Will definitely be booking again!

Thanksgiving at Loon Landing

We had a wonderful relaxing time enjoying the winter weather from the beautiful picture windows overlooking the lake. The 4 of us, my husband, myself and our 2 adult children, cooked a full Thanksgiving meal, played games and watched movies. The 3 bedrooms were comfortable. We were happy with the cleanliness and location. The management company sent messages checking in and asking if we needed anything. I definitely recommend this house, we would stay here again.

Quiet & Serene Lake Home

Loon Landing is a true gem in the Wisconsin Northwoods Lakeland area. Beautiful setting on a small peninsula overlooking a quiet & serene lake. We were graced by loons, deer, frogs, turtles, and the lake resident beavers. Kayaking & paddle boating was relaxing and beautiful. We biked on area trails that were easy to get to.The home accommodated our group perfectly. We had everything we needed. The property manager was friendly & responsive. We hope to stay at this property agsin next summer!

Comfortable stay

Nice winter location. We were comfortable and relaxed even though it was below zero outside. This place is on a small lake with nice views. It is also within reasonable distance to Minoqua and plenty of hiking trails. The house was adequately equipped for our needs and we were not needing anything it did not have. The layout worked for our family with one bedroom and bath on the main floor and two bedrooms and a bath upstairs. It has a nice three season porch (which of course we could not use with below zero temps) with a great view of the lake. We would like to come back during warmer weather to enjoy the lake and hiking.

Loon Landing

House was clean and on a nice lake for kayaking. Kitchen floor had a big crack in it though...not dangerous, just annoying. Lots of living space. Like the first floor bedroom, with the other 2 upstairs with their own bath. Kitchen well equipped. Need to have more details in description though. When i looked under bedding provided, all it said was blankets, for example. Had to call to make sure we didnt need to bring sheets etc. Overall, nice place.

Shane from VRC was very helpful and responsive to all of my questions. During our stay we needed to reach out again, and he was quick to respond and resolve our questions. We have been traveling to the area for numerous years and wish we would have known about this place sooner. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Definitely plenty of area to spread out in the house, the kitchen is spacious and extremely well stocked with cooking essentials. The location was convenient for our fishing outings and very peaceful sitting by the lake in the shade (even when it was 90 degrees out). The only downside for us was freezer space being a side-by-side refrigerator and freezer, we have a lot of freezer items that we had to be creative to make the freezer work for us.

Great Place and Location

We were a little hesitant to reserve Loon Landing because there were no reviews. We were told by the management company that the place is new to VRBO. We decided to take a chance on it. We didn’t go wrong. The location is great… far enough away from the hustle and bustle of a major tourist area in northern Wisconsin, but close enough to tourist attractions and great restaurants. The small lake is very quiet. The whole place was peaceful. There are an adequate amount of spaces in the home to allow everyone in our party to be together when we wanted and apart for solitude. Having a washer and dryer was great to clean up beach towels or clothing. I’d recommend the place.

The management services plowed and shoveled the drive and sidewalks clean. Moving around the property was never an issue. The home was obviously checked prior to our stay to make sure all amenities were in order. A special treat was left in the form of several bundles of firewood for a nice romantic touch. Though the temps were single digits the house was never drafty or cold. Our early mornings were shared by a small herd of deer that roamed the lake .shore. We love 'Loon Landing'!!!!!

A Wonderful Property

The listing is exceptional. This was by far the best rental we have had in Wisconsin. Our original goal was to find something a little quieter. We’ve visited this area for over 20 years. Nevertheless, we were amazed at what the property offered. We found the location far enough from local traffic to be secluded, but literally minutes from trails, recreation areas, attractions, or resources any family or serious sportsperson could think of. The view from the deck across the lake is window to the nature of the north woods. Everything on the property was clean and well maintained. Images on the listing don’t convey the true roominess of the home. Amenities were modern and quality. The property was easy to find and access was convenient. Guest services were unique and friendly.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our impromptu return to Loon Landing was no less satisfying than our first visit. The property was just as immaculate and tidy. The cabin was clean and uncluttered. Our requests for small improvements for guest comfort and convenience were already incorporated. Amenities rank with the best resorts in the area.We got to spend some time on the sun porch with the warmer weather. It’s definitely the place to enjoy a morning cup while looking at the lake, or to enjoy the sunset. We took a more relaxing acquaintance with the pier while sitting on the bench. Topography around the lake blocks much of the light pollution, making it ideal for star gazing and night photography from there.We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third return to Loon Landing, and it didn’t disappoint. We love fall colors and hit the area at just the right time. The view from the property was inspiring. The location offers many votive reminders of the best that northern Wisconsin offers. I was so motivated I got up with my camera and coffee to watch the moon set across the lake from the pier. I can’t wait to do more night photography off the deck. Our stays wouldn’t be nearly as nice if it weren’t for the owner and management staff that keeps the property neat and ready for guests. We don’t look for all those little things that make our stay comfortable. However, we notice and appreciate the ‘exceptional’ just the same. The charging station under the kitchen counter was a nice add by the way.
