“LA Habitación amplia y con una bonita ventana que daba al rio. Buen servicio de desayuno. Muy bien el personal de recepción sobre todo Sophie. Buen gim y piscina cubierta. Cruzabas el puente y estabas en el centro de Kendal.Kendal un poco aburrido con horarios muy restringidos para comer.Cerca de la estación de autobuses para los lagos, bien comunicada.”

“Rooms are good enough. They do what you need and that’s provide a bed to sleep and a bathroom to do your business. Breakfast is elite, yes it isn’t Michelin star but it is filling and is delicious in its own way. Staff are also absolutely lovely and the hotel served its purpose excellently. I’ve stayed twice now and don’t have a single significant complaint. ”

“Room was great with amazing views. Friendly and lovely staff.. Great location. Also, high compliments for the food we had there. We thought the main bedding could be better with a bit more blackout curtain/blinds as the ambient lights outside were on for a longer period at night - these are some feedback for the sake of it. “I booked my stay at this hotel through Expedia. When I checked in I was told that I hadn’t prepaid through Expedia. Because I was tired after a long day, I paid as requested by the hotel . Through Expedia I requested this double payment to be returned. Over a week later I’m still waiting.”

“Very clean room and breakfast lovely, hot, high quality bacon,sausage etc . Pets welcome in the bar area only Mattress too firm for our choice but this personal to each person . Nice touch of bottled water , various selection of small soaps, shampoo etc and choc biscuits in room . Very busy Friday night for eating so understandably bit of a wait find our table and take orders . Great food and beers ! ”

“There was a damp smell upon arrival. When we looked around we could see there had been a leak from the bathroom staining the ceilings and carpets. The bathroom door did not lock and there property was generally in a poor state of repair. Marks on every wall and paint peeling from the window sills. Cracked and rocking tiles throughout downstairs. The oven was dirty. Despite the listing stating there was wi-fi an instruction on the table stated there was not. “We stayed in a family room. It was very spacious, clean and comfy. The Inn is not far from Kendal cbd (less than 10 min drive). The hotel does do dinner, it is a little pricey tho. The included breakfast was quite good (cereals and full english breakie style included in our stay). ”
