Your Lakeland adventure begins at this 1-bedroom cottage. The cottage is behind our home with a beautiful courtyard in between. You’ll be parking in our driveway, so you’ll see photos of our home, front porch and parking area. You’ll go through the black iron gate and across the courtyard to your cottage. Inside, guests find a gorgeous queen bed and a tranquil living room that also features a queen bed, perfect for extra comfort. The cottage offers two bathrooms, each equipped with a shower and bidet, making mornings easy and refreshing. Stay comfortable year-round with heating and air conditioning, and enjoy thoughtful touches like a hair dryer, steamer, and iron. Our cottage also has 2 high quality air filters to make sure you have clean air. As well as 2 high quality Amway Sky air purifiers. Whether you’re enjoying a peaceful day indoors or planning your day, this phenomenal space invites you to unwind and relax.

Our cottage is tucked into a quiet historic neighborhood just under a mile from downtown, so you’ll have easy access to shops, restaurants, and local events. There’s a market downtown every Saturday from 9:00-2:00. Just one block away, you’ll find a lovely lake with benches and picnic tables—perfect for a morning coffee or an evening stroll. You’ll definitely want to visit here to see the ducks and swans. Our courtyard has some of our favorite visitors like cardinals, bluebirds, butterflies, and dragonflies.

We’re also a half block from a public library where you’ll find the Black & Brew coffee shop/cafe, the Peach House restaurant and an ice cream shop all within a short walking distance. You can see the art museum, which is next to the library, from our courtyard!

If you enjoy walking, you’ll love the sidewalks and charming brick streets throughout the neighborhood—it’s a peaceful area with lots of character.
