Hoteles haciendas en Lakeport

“Family-run hotel. Very nice people, and very accommodating. I see from some reviews that picky folk might be bothered that the decor is not the latest, and the tv is CRT instead of flatscreen, but the basics are there: clean room, comfortable bed, etc. And while they didn't provide breakfast on-site, with the money we saved by staying here, we got a great breakfast nearby at Schat's Bakery (down the street, and another one in the Friedman's Home Improvement store). There are some nice choices...

“Good price but terrible service, I stayed 4 nights and even though I requested housekeeping service several times it was never provided. This goes without mentioning the overall cleanliness of the room I was given, which unfortunately reeked of cigarrete smoke, and was overall not very clean. The floors were still wet when the room was given to me, which is a slipping risk. Thankfully the serice personnel was able to mop off the water a bit, but the floors still remained damp. ”

“Okay - speaking as the wife of a train buff, staying here as a birthday surprise was a no brainer. The question was - would I regret it? Is a vacay stay in a caboose comfortable or just kitschy? It was a blast. The grounds are gorgeous. The view? Clear Lake! What’s not to like? A fun pool on campus (with abundant floats - I was big on the giant pink flamingo) and access to stand up paddle boards and kayaks for the lake. “We loved our stay here and highly recommend it. Wished we had booked an extra day so we could take advantage of the kayaks on the pond! We cooked multiple meals on the stove & in the oven. Everything in the unit worked well and the beds were firm & comfortable. ”
