Wonderful little cabin with a great lakefront view. I love that our dogs were able to stay with us. Had a wonderful time relaxing and fishing. Highly recommend checking them out especially if you love having your fur baby be a part of the adventure.

Had a full size bathroom which is somewhat unique. It was very cozy and comfortable and had no problem staying there. Not being familiar with Smart TVs in their operation it took me a couple days to figure out. But all in all if I went back to that area would try to stay there again

The lake

My stay wasn't as long as I booked it for I left early due to other issues of my own not to do with the property or my stay over all I was pleased with the cabin and everything only problem was I was the only one following the rules about any animals mine were with me and leashed the entire time can't say the same for the other guests because I was not able to take my animals out for a walk around the be property as the other guests had larger dogs and they were not on a leash I was afraid to walk my dogs for fear of the larger dogs attacking mine

Was looking to get away quiet lay in bed and watch TV did not realize one TV in living room husband hated it it's Roku fire stick we're older we like regular TV. Anyway only stayed one night. Not their fault we just made a mistake where to stay thank you

Peaceful week at the resort

We had a wonderful stay at the Lazy Oaks Resort. Our cabin faced Rainbow Lake so we had beautiful sunrises every morning. Will definitely stay here again.

Tried to contact owners, by 4 texts and 3 calls. We heard him in the office on property, but still wouldn’t answer. We accidentally left a computer cord and they didn’t have the decency to let us know if they had it, or even looked for it.

The cabin definitely needs an update. Everything was old and drabby except for some cute pictures and sayings hung up on the walls. The sink in the bathroom leans and we did not utilize the blankets in the living room as they did not smell fresh. The bed was comfortable. We utilized the kitchen which is very basic. and you have to clean your own dishes(no dishwasher). The window screens were not cleaned on the outside. There is a cleaning notice that if the cabin rooms are left in poor condition - dishes in sink or ?? - that there would be an extra cleaning fee tacked on your bill after you left.

Cabin is highly recommended, clean, comfortable and well supplied. Location is great, near many attractions of different types and styles. Recommend bringing your own watercraft if you want to use the lake, no useable boats as shown on the website. Nice CPR fishing, saw lots of good sized catfish and carp in the coves around sunrise and after sunset but docks old and worn down. Never saw or talked to any management.

Rest in cool weather

Cute cottage on Rainbow Lake. There to read and rest from heat and busy time in Scottsdale. Could have had more lights in cabin for night book reading but all in all a successful rest.

Much needed trip for a tired travel nurse

I absolutely loved this cabin. We stayed at the Pinon cabin and could not have asked for a better perfect atmosphere. The cabin was perfect. It accommodated us, and our K9s and the bed was firm so comfortable. Like it was an absolute game changer because we spent so much time outdoors fishing most of our trip and just really enjoying being in the moment. It was so homey, it reminded us of fishing and camping in cabins with our families growing up. It was just great not one complaint. I can’t say enough about this little resort. The staff was super helpful when I called to pay the last bit on my debit card (not org card) and then at the end we kind of chitchatted with the checkout guy, and he was just super kind and friendly and welcoming. It just was such a straightforward easy process the doors are electronic key code, so no worry about losing keys or anything like that. You’re provided with the code upon your signing of the contract and check in. I arrived a little late in the evening on a Wednesday close to like 11:30 PM because I was driving from out of state and my partner arrived couple hours later and it was just so nice to relax and disconnect. Listen to the birds, the crickets, and frogs started coming out on the last night we were there. You could hear them in the distance it was just so perfect. We had a fire two nights in the fireplace inside. There other cabin guests were super friendly and doing the same thing as us. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.
