Thunder Manor is a peaceful 190-acre farm with two separate vacation rentals. This apartment is one, and the other is a brand-new three-bedroom home with a private hot tub. The property is conveniently located near many of the area’s boys’ and girls’ summer camps.

You’ll also be a short drive from Hancock, NY, a small Delaware River town with local restaurants, shops, fishing and river access.

Quiet, wooded small-town neighborhood in Lakewood (Wayne County) surrounded by lakes, seasonal cottages and year‑round homes. Nearby attractions include local lakes and outdoor recreation (boating, fishing, hiking). Local services and grocery options are limited inside Lakewood — larger shopping, dining and medical services are in neighboring towns such as Honesdale, Hawley and Scranton.

The area is largely car-dependent; most guests will need a car or rideshare. Roads are local two‑lane and often narrow; winter weather can affect travel times. Limited regional bus services operate from nearby towns; there is no frequent local rail or rapid transit. Walking and bicycling are pleasant within the immediate neighborhood for short trips, but not practical for reaching major services.
