“We had a wonderful stay in the Northwoods at the Cabernet Cabin! It's on a great spot on a quiet lake. The cabin is clean and cozy. The owners Kathleen and Steve are very friendly and welcoming. “Came up with a 4 year old and a 16 year old, plus wife and I. Cabin was the perfect size! There was enough privacy for the 16 year old in the loft, yet still kept him in the group. The cabin was very clean, tidy and well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. and that allowed us to stay focused on fun! Great location, with a beautiful view of the lake all day! Close to the Hayward Amusement Center for our 4 year old.The hosts were prompt and courteous during our stay when we needed anything....

“Our group consisted of me, my husband and 2 of our adult kids. Location was perfect. We walked everywhere; to get a coffee in the morning, to the grocery store, to the Lumberjack show, to get ice cream and to the fishing museum. We sat around a fire on the back patio every night over looking the lake and talking. The kitchen is nice and big with lots of counterspace which made making meals easy.
