“We have enjoyed a fantastic 2 night stay, the location was spot on only 2 minutes to Lake Windermere and the ferry landing point. Colin is the perfect host, very attentive, knowledgeable of the area and looked after us well. Breakfast was a lovely; full English in a cosy setting. The room was fine with all amenities. It was our birthdays whilst there and Colin decorated the room, these touches are most appreciated. Definitely recommend 10/10”

“La habitación está bien, le falta un poco de luz pero imagino que en verano debe estar fenomenal. El problema viene cuando llega el fresco y entiendo que por ahorrar no ponen apenas la calefacción. Aparte de ello, desde el primer momento pedí una factura que finalmente no me han enviado ni hecho. El día de mi partida, habían avisado al fontanero a las 8:30 de la mañana, por lo que tuve que salir media hora antes de lo que pensaba.”

“Booked this for my friend’s wedding as it was walking distance to the venue! Affordable room close to the river, quiet and clean. I liked having a fridge and oven etc although we didn’t need it. Owner was great, I asked if the room had a hairdryer as my partner forgot his and he sorted us out! Would stay again if I needed to go to Preston :)”
