Beautiful Secluded Home

Beautiful, peaceful setting and home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Just be aware if you are bringing your dog, there is a resident porcupine 😊

Beautiful views!

House has gorgeous views of the presidentials from the back deck. Definitely the highlight of this house! It has plenty of space and is comfy. A couple things to note if staying: towels were not in an obvious place so it caused concern when we showed up dirty from a day of skiing. They were hanging on the back of the bathroom doors and no extras in closets, etc. Hot tub towels were in the front closet where you’d hand jackets. I’d suggest labeling or noting somewhere. When we called, no one could clearly tell me where they are because it’s run by Vacasa. Once someone used the bathroom, we finally discovered the towels! Also, the man who works for Vacasa in the area when he called me was the nicest guy. Also, the downstairs bedroom is very loud when toilets anywhere in the house flush bc it has to have a pump to move the water to the drain. Our friends who slept downstairs didn’t get much sleep bc of this. Otherwise, we truly enjoyed our stay!

Great property with an even better view!

This property was really wonderful! The house itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. I really appreciated the different places in the house that you can socialize and relax in. The best part of this property is the hot tub and the view. The hot tub is right on the deck, just a few feet from the door. This meant that if you're there during winter (like we were), you didn't have far to run when heading back in. The view from the back deck is also incredible! You're presented with a sweeping panorama and I'm sure it's even more beautiful in the other seasons. The location of the house is great, not far from many of the attractions in the area. Please be aware that the street the house is located on is a dirt road. This isn't a problem, but something to know about if you're travelling in inclement weather. Overall it's a great property and one I'll be sure to look at first when I head back to NH!

Clean and spacious

I stayed at this property with my husband, kids, and my mom. The house was extremely clean and had all the things we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner. The view was absolutely stunning and even better when in the hot tub! Easy drive to Littleton, Santa’s Village, and other small towns. We enjoyed our stay!

Great time

We had fun the ONLY downside or complaint we have is there weren't enough dishwasher pods or trash bags for our stay! Other than that everything was perfect and everyone had a great time! We also were having issues with the smoke detector going off but maintenence came right out, and he was great!

Off the grid - but on the grid

Visited with a friend and my son. We never actually left the property to drive anywhere. We had tons of food, drinks and warm beds to sleep in at night. The house itself is 2.5 miles down a very well maintained dirt road. The house is simple and comfortable while offering the amenities needed to just enjoy our stay-cation! We did trail blaze, tick find, and soak in the hot tub though… if you’re looking to get away but still be connected - this totally fits the bill. Views alone will make you stretch your arms out wide with excitement - the house sits only 19 miles from Mount Washington. If your curious about staying connected… no worries there. We had 0 interruptions with the web or tv. Win win! So… if you’re thinking of going. Do it! Don’t miss out on some of the best views out your back door!

Heaven on Earth

The entire property is stunning from the moment you drive down the driveway, the views take your breath away. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, 60 acres or property to explore and an amazing view to admire as you soak in the hot tub. This place was an absolute dream and my family and I can’t wait to book it again!

Dishes, glasses and pans were dirty

The view was beautiful but that couldn't change the fact that we needed to shovel to get into the house and that the dishes, glasses and pans were dirty and when I was sent a text message on how clean is the house I responded with letting them know that things were dirty and they said someone would reach out and I'm still waiting to hear from them. We only had 7 towels and again I let them know and they said they would be intauch and still nothing. This place only leaves you with the bare minimum and they do not get back to you.

Relaxed and Happy

This was the perfect place to get away and relax! It is secluded enough to feel like you are the only ones around, but close enough to town for all the necessities. We loved the wood burning fireplace and added bonus of the hot tub! We would highly recommend this place as a get away for two or a place for a larger group of family or friends. We would definitely book this place again and will keep it on our list for future vacations!

Picturesque Getaway

The views and the privacy really can't be beat. Even though we had a lot of bad weather it was still nice to chill out in the hot tub and take in the mountain air. Would definitely do it again

Lovely stay

This is the first time we have rented a home for our vacation and we were pleasantly surprised! The home was very clean and it was just as was advertised. It was very comfortable and the hot tub on the deck was a very nice perk.

stunning location!

We were a group of 4 adults - my brother, best friend, and me and my husband. The house is very nice and there's plenty of room for everyone. We easily could have had a few more people with us. We also brought our dog, who happily sat on the deck and enjoyed the fresh air or hung out on his bed inside. We've rented a lot of places at this point, and this hot tub was by far the cleanest we've ever been in. And when we were leaving, the person who cares for it showed up to drain, clean and refill it, so it makes total sense that it's so clean. The house was super clean with one exception (and the only reason I went with 4 stars instead of 5 on the cleanliness). There was a pretty significant mouse problem in the kitchen during our stay. There were droppings in every drawer and lower cabinet and we spotted them running across the counters and floor a few times. To be fair, they are taking care of it. I asked the local manager to drop off some traps and we would take care of placing them, and they arrived by that afternoon. He also followed up to let me know that a professional pest control company had been called. Being out in the woods, mice are expected - just a little bummer to deal with that extent on vacation. Back to the positives! The location is stunning! My one word of caution - if you are nervous being in a secluded location and not being able to see your neighbors, this may not be the place for you. If you prefer that setting (as we do), this spot is fantastic. Sitting in the hot tub while watching a storm roll across the Presidential Range is one of my new happy places for stressful times. We will definitely stay here again and have a few relatives who are hoping to come with us. :)

great spot

Property is beautiful, very private and quiet. Kitchen is well equipped and house overall is spacious enough for a large group. Our only complaint was that there is no eight person table (indoor or out) to share a meal together...seemed odd for a house that sleeps eight. With only seven of us, we squeezed together at the kitchen gathering table using a stool from the basement, and the dining and outdoor tables using other chairs so we made it work, but that might not be comfortable for 8 larger people. Happy to find a functioning hot tub since occasionally they are advertised but not maintained, and they even provided towels for it which was a nice bonus. Coffee every morning on the front porch, drinks on the deck every evening: the place is a perfect spot to relax...we weren't in a hurry to hike or sightsee since the view of the Presidential range is spectacular right from the house. Adequate services (grocery, coffee shop, bakery) in nearby Lancaster, not many restaurants close by but we only ate out once. We prefer being outside of all the hubbub of a tourist area so this location was perfect for us. Plenty of outdoor activities to do (hiking, fishing, kayaking, biking) for the week within a 5-30 minute drive. We don't usually repeat vacation rentals, but we all hope to come back here!

Wonderful vacation home for our families!

Property is beautiful, home is very clean, had 2 families of 4 and a large dog and it was plenty of space for us to eat, play and relax, plus we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the breathtaking surrounding area. Definitely would benefit from AC (it was a very hot week)

Great weekend getaway

Beautiful house that is very spacious and clean with gorgeous Mountain Views. Had a fully stocked kitchen with all kitchenware needed to cook, eat and clean. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels, pillows, toilet paper and hand soaps. It was amazing to sit in the hot tub and watch mountains and sunsets and relax by the warm fireplace watching movies. Great family time, would definitely go back!!!!

30th Birthday

My friends and I had a wonderful time celebrating a birthday! We went skiing at Bretton Woods and also did some snowmobiling, despite the frigid weather we had a blast! Beautiful home, plenty of space. Thank you, we had a great weekend!
