“It is a small, simple cottage in the woods. The driveway is a bit treacherous. The hot tub was great. The amenities were very good. Overall it was a nice visit.”

“Great house! Will stay again!”

“We needed a place to stay when our son got married at a nearby venue. This house was perfect!! My husand and I with our son stayed in the lower area. While our daughter and her family of 5 stayed in the upper area. Both top and bottom are wonderfully decorated with open floor plans and very comfortable. Communication with the host was always prompt. If we ever need to stay in the area again this will definitely be our go to first.”

“We had a great stay!”

“The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Host communicated very well. We would stay there again.”

“We took a quick trip to Tryon and stayed one night - I wish we had planned for more because this stay is a gem. Such character and thoughtfulness to the period in which it was built. We will stay here again for sure.”

“This was a super cute bungalow! I love how it is in "downtown" Tryon. You cannot get closer to the shops and restaurants of "downtown." I wish we had time to stay longer. Highly recommend!”

“Perfect Little Mountain Getaway! What a wonderful little retreat! This tiny house was everything we could have hoped for—cozy, nicely decorated, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially loved the electric fireplace, which made the evenings feel extra cozy! The outdoor space was just as inviting. Sitting by the firepit under the hanging lights, enjoying the peaceful sounds of the water, was such a lovely way to unwind. The setting offered a nice sense of...

“The house is very remote from my venue (FENCE), but not difficult to find. Upon arrival, the outside looked like a dump, but the interior was clean and while very cluttered to my taste, attractive. The problems I had were - no closets in bedrooms (there was a room devoted to laundry and closet, but full of owners' clothers); the kitchen apparently had no dishes except a few children's plates. Could not find ANY plates, bowls, etc. so breakfast was out of the question; no directions at all...

“Really comfortable. Four things I require for a wonderful stay away from home: the ability to easily make a great cup of coffee in the morning (check), clean smelling home including linen and no use of scented dryer sheets (check), no lingering pet smells (check) and a super comfortable mattress with non-foam pillows (double check). Wonderful!”

“This was the perfect place for several families gathering together… Kids played Pickleball late into the night and it was such a great house!! Host was very communicative and the overall experience was wonderful. Thx!”

“The cutest little find. Hosts were punctual with response times and the container house was very cozy. The espresso machine was a fun touch I didn’t pay attention to when booking. Much needed relaxing getaway.”

“A magical farm you won't want to leave! Plenty of room to roam and sit outside to enjoy nature during the day. At night we really enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub under the lit pergola. Slept like a baby on a very comfortable bed and loved that we had the option for A/C or a fan and that we could open the "garage" door on the unit for fresh air if we wanted. And finally, the best part of Alpine South, the family who runs it. They make you feel like you're staying with old friends from the moment...

“The property owner was fabulous. I called about a small leak & within 5 mins someone was there & problem solve. Cute duplex & loved the decor. Perfect for my family on a baseball tournament.”

“We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean, had a beautiful view, and was so peaceful and quiet. It accommodated our family of five comfortably. The kitchen was stocked with the basics needed to prepare simple meals. The location was perfect - we enjoyed an afternoon of tubing and exploring the charming small-town shops nearby. The host was an excellent communicator and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. We'd definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing...

“This was a great property for our stay while attending a horse show at Tryon. Very close to the location, clean and well equipped. The hosts were wonderful and made sure everything was ready for us to arrive and kept in touch to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip.”

“Communication was quick and easy. The hosts provided some local beer for a fee with the stay which was a nice touch for the beer themed container home. I would stay here again next time I’m in the area.”

“My husband & I stayed 4 nights. This place is about 10 min from downtown Saluda. Very cute little town with some nice restaurants and bars. We went to Chimney rock, Hendersonville, Flat Rock, Dupont state park, a few wineries. So overall a good home base to explore the area. The house is very comfortable with gorgeous views and although you have some neighbors very close by, the way these houses are designed, you still have your privacy. There is a long gravel road leading up to the house,...
