Clean and welcoming, but no closet for clothes…I was on business and need my clothes to be wrinkle-free. Beautiful little studio, but cold even when heat is up. TV is at a weird angle across from the bed so pretty much have to lie on the bed to watch TV. I was also put off by all of the signs. I think most adults would know that flushing certain things or using too much heat in bathroom is not cool.Also, 20 acres and no smoking (of anything) allowed on the entire property outside.Don’t mean to be a downer because I can tell it was a very thought-out studio and beautiful and clean, as I said. Just a few tweaks and it would be much more welcoming!

A hot plate is provided, not a stove/oven. Ice cube tray was broken & unusable. The $50 pet fee seemed high to us, especially considering the relatively low nightly rate. We were obviously wanting an affordable stay, and the pet fee did not make it an affordable stay.

Lovely space, very clean very comfortable. The location was just a little out of the way, and a bit isolated. A little difficulty with the Wi-Fi and TV.Otherwise, would recommend. We had a truly wonderful stay. The location is perfect. Easy to get to Langley or Freeland or any number of beaches. Not far to Coupeville. The property is beautiful. Stunning sunsets. Lots of privacy. Unit is beautiful and perfect for our needs. It's very nicely laid out and equipped for a small space. Management company very responsive.

Comfortable but a few concerns

Property was clean and comfortable, location was convenient, but a few issues:Keurig machine wasn’t working properly. My dog was on a leash and sniffing at a nearby property (I was on the road; we were not trespassing) and a neighbor asked numerous questions about who i was, where was I staying etc. More concerning, was the interior door leading to the barn was closed and locked upon my arrival. I walked the dog quickly and when I came back, the interior door was open, which was a little scary. Further more,Saturday evening I could hear voices and people talking in the barn. Both experiences were unsettling for a solo traveler.

New, clean, private and quiet. We stayed for 2 nights with 3 people and that worked great (2 people would have been perfect) Loved the ambience and the bottle of wine was a nice added touch. Just a few minutes drive out of town and in a perfect setting. Host was very responsive each time I messaged. Would stay again for sure!

Weekend in Whidbey

We very much enjoyed our stay at Baker's Acres. The cottage/barn was well-appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. My husband enjoyed watching March Madness each evening using our HBO account on the large TV. Everyone was so friendly in Langley. We were able to eat outside with our pug at a coffee house/bookstore and later in the day at a tap house with a Polynesian food truck. Our dog loved the off-leash dog beach by Useless Bay. L. Evans

Comfortable stay, beautiful scenery!

Rang a quiet new year in at Bakers Acres Retreat. It was so peaceful and quiet and just what we needed for a reset. We loved the nice little drive into town and had fun perusing the shops of Langley and the public library in town. We also took a walk on the beautiful wooded property. Recommend for some peaceful time away!
