Plenty of parking, very easy check in and an exceptional selection of produce supplied for breakfast next morning. Good heating system, great bed, powerful shower, all in all with all of the other attentions to detail a great stay, very highly recommended.”

“We paid a premium price for a very standard room. Double bed with hard pillows. Very dated in the decor and furnishings. I was disappointed with the whole experience. Set menu for the evening was very pricy and was underwhelming. Breakfast was what saved the day, nice ingredients, great selection. Staff were friendly.”

“So terrible we walked in and walked out again, drove around to find a different hotel! This hotel gave me the creeps, like something out of a horror movie with an American hostel feel. We arrived late (10 ish pm) and despite the hotel being quite quiet our room was given to us and was one of the last rooms down a long dark corridor at the back of the building. I was travelling alone with my young daughter and couldnt understand why we were put so far away from civilisation. Something felt...

“The parking was problematic as some had parked a petrol car in the charging bay, which they did move on request. The room was cold as someone had left the window open. The room and hallway smelt of smoking and generally was very old. The bedding was clean and fresh and the bud was comfy. There was no hot water in the morning until I went to reception and asked about it and was told just run the water. The towel rail was broken with electric cable hanging off.
