“It was a delight to walk into the cottage and see the lake through the wall of windows. My daughter and I spent as much time as we could outside- sipping morning coffee in the Muskoka chairs on the new dock, reading in the shade of the black willows and enjoying the quiet of the lake. My son and his family came up for the afternoon and the kids loved the kayaks and the dinner on the outdoor deck. The A/C was a bonus as the heatwave continued throughout our stay. “Beautiful views. Best dog vacation ever. Plenty of supplies. Great kayaking. There was a gnat problem every morning. They would cover sinks and counters. A quick cleaning and they’d be gone until next day. ”

“The location is perfectly located to enjoy the beauty of the 1000 Islands region, and the old farmhouse is a wonderful place to stay. The large grounds are private, and the views are breathtaking. I am already planning to return next year.”

“Great communication with host. View onto the lake is stunning. Plenty of furniture outside to enjoy the view. Location is pretty central to Wendy’s Market, Elgin and Westport to stock up on groceries. House had all we needed (laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, clean towels/linens. AC was nice to have as it was hot during our stay. House was cleaned nicely for our arrival. ”
