The cottage has its own and beautifully landscaped garden with various seating areas and (in summer) a barbecue.

The cottage was built in 1895 and is beautifully decorated while maintaining original details. At the beginning of the turn of the century the writer Louis Couperus lived on the domain for 2 years. There is fast WiFI available and in the living room you have access to a 55 "smart TV, including Sonos system. The kitchen is fully equipped and also has a Nespresso machine. The cottage is within walking distance of Laren, a beautiful green village in the center of Het Gooi. In Laren numerous luxury shops, restaurants, bars and the Singer Museum can be found.
