We made our booking in August, before we knew it was going to be one of the busiest weekends of the year in Vegas!
Thursday at 4PM and we check in to the VRBO condo. We open the condo door to find, three random people in our suite. Turns out, they booked the same place as us!!! After they and we call the management company, our reservation gets cancelled 15 minutes after check in.
There was no apology, no help offered from the property management or the owner who refused to answer our calls, VRBO or the employees who work at the condo building!
We proceed to spend the next four hours on the phone with customer service not helping us at all. We go to our planned evening out and finally at 11:30PM VRBO tells us to self lodge, book something, and submit the receipts for reimbursement, but VRBO still has our money from the original booking saying we will have it in a few business days!
Friday and Saturday morning, we have to spend hours on the phone fighting with VRBO for accommodation, and getting somewhere on a daily basis after calling each day for hours!!
The penultimate morning however, they told us they can’t do anything, and to wait for the booking team to rebook us for our last night in Vegas. The same booking team we’ve been waiting on since FRIDAY. Calling after checkout, they agree to self lodge us again, we have stayed in three different places, four different rooms in four days! The rebooking team called today at 11.15am, our flight is 7.50pm!
