As you look out the unique architectural windows, you will have access to the rail line that gave Laurel its prominence while also carrying musicians and artists to New Orleans, Chicago, and all along the eastern coastal cities. We are very excited to share this experience with our guests. You will hear the train / Amtrak and also see its daily travels and enjoy the sites that it brings.

This was a great place. The bedroom was comfortable and quiet, except for an occasional train whistle. Which we thought added to the ambiance. Nicely furnished. Kitchen looked well stocked with necessary cooking items. Although we only made coffee during our stay. There were good places to eat in the area. You can see the Scotsman’s workshop from the VRBO. Parking was free and adjacent to the unit. Highly recommend.

This was a great little place! Super convenient to downtown Laurel, as well as the more bustling city center. The perfect amount of room for my husband and I. Lots of charm, I love that they left some of the mechanic shop architecture. It was well appointed with a specious kitchen, large bedroom and bathroom, and plenty of seating for us to spread out. Eric was very quick to respond to my questions. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Laurel and would highly recommend it to others.
