We had a magnificent stay at this beautiful property! It looks like it’s out of a fairytale as you drive the last bit onto the actual property as you approach the house. The home is incredible and every little nook is turned into a creative space. Every detail has been thought out to perfection! We look forward to returning again and spending a magical weekend in those beautiful woods!

Beautiful secluded cabin

Perfect stay if you like to be secluded. Loved the fire pit and outdoor spaces. Not a far drive to spend the day hiking at the park. Enjoyed the little pizza shop in the small laurelville town.

The Perfect Quiet Getaway!

The Carpenters cabin provided everything we needed, and more, to slow down and spend quality time as a family! Our 13 year old (m) loved spending time outdoors exploring, while our 8 year old (f) enjoyed the coziness of the book loft!! During our short stay I most enjoyed the hammock chairs in the screened in porch on the 3rd floor, where I spent hours reading!!Scott & Jami were communicative before and during our stay, making for a stressfree experience! My families visit here fostered memories we will truly cherish forever!!!

Hocking Hills Family Gettogether

Perfect and secluded to enjoy a nice relaxing weekend near Hocking Hills. The playhouse offered great entertainment for the little ones under 6. The fire pit and Jamison offered great places to mingle and enjoy s’mores around the fire pit. The cabin offered luxurious accommodations but useful gathering our kids and grandkids together. Loved the place and highly recommend staying at when visiting Hocking Hills State Park.

Great property

Property was great for privacy, owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The location was perfect for any hiking you'd want to do in hocking hills. The house was very clean, well stocked and just as described in the listing. Truly one of the best places we've stayed. We would definitely plan on coming back for another stay and would love to see in different seasons. Thanks for a great stay! We loved Hocking Hills!

Amazing place!

Any description about the place listed is spot on! We went for a couple days with friends and loved every second! Not far from the caves and this place was so secluded and quiet. The kids loved the room/fort at the very top of the stairs. Everything was so comfy and nice/clean. Wish we stayed a couple days longer. The responses from the property owners was very quick and welcoming! Thank you!

Spring Break

We had a group of 4 adults and 4 kids between 9-12 years old stay at the house. There was something for everyone to enjoy - every detail from the swings on the porch to the little nook with a bed upstairs was thoughtfully crafted and we used every little nook inside the house. Our girls had a blast in the bunk room in the basement with their own private living room. We enjoyed smores out at the fire pit with a dip in the hot tub afterwards. The house made for a fun and memorable spring break trip with friends! Hope to be back!

The best place to stay in the Hocking Hills area!

We had the best trip to the Carpenter’s Cabin and are already looking forward to our next visit. The cabin was clean, well stocked and so much fun! Perfect place for kids and adults!

Girls Weekend

We had four women staying at Carpenter’s Cabin for the weekend. The Cabin was beautiful and was decorated for the holidays in the most gorgeous way. It was super easy to communicate with the host and they were very helpful in working with us and providing information about the property and the surrounding area.

Wonderful house!

This property has everything your extended family needs for adventure and relaxation. Three separate floors and three bathrooms, so everyone has some privacy. Wonderful outdoor spaces. Close to all of Hocking Hills attractions. Very attentive hosts who fulfilled our request in 30 minutes. Highly recommend!!

A beautiful, relaxing retreat

We celebrated my twin sisters’ 40th birthday with 6 adults, three children and a toddler. The house had plenty of space for us to spread out and we spent lots of time on the front porch watching the kids play outside. We hiked a few trails at Hocking Hills which is less than 20 minutes from the house and visited the petting zoo for a fall festival. The house is beautiful and you can tell they thought of all the details both in the design of the house and in making it a comfortable space for guests. FYI, if you are traveling with a toddler, bring some sort of gate; the steps downstairs are right in the kitchen; we made a makeshift gate using a luggage rack and a suitcase. So glad we found this gem, I’d love to get back!
