Extended Weekend

Super clean, easy to communicate with owner and easy to access property. We really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend to anyone wanting a nice, quiet, country stay.

House was perfect! All our needs were met, several thoughtful touches. Yard was perfect for my dog. Visited six distilleries and several towns. Brunch at Kentucky Castle was delicious. House was a great location for all of our adventures.

This house is just as advertised. It is in a beautiful, secluded spot a few miles outside Custer. Perfect location to do all the fun things in the hills and relax at the end of the day.

Great home for relaxing after Bourbon Trail

3 siblings and spouses stayed here and loved it. Great layout, beds were comfortable, away from traffic, 20-30 minutes away from many distilleries. Each couple had their own bathroom, garage was set up as a game room, fun times. Contact with owner was prompt and efficientWould definitely stay again!

Had a great time in bourbon country at this perfectly located property. Easy to get to Four Roses, Wild Turkey, Castle & Key, and Buffalo Trace. 15 minutes to everything in Frankfort too.Accommodations were great - everything we needed to prepare meals in kitchen and outside with grill. The hot tub and firepit came in handy on the cool nights.And if traveling for bourbon tastings, definitely use Kelly's recommended tour company: Stone Fences Tours.

Great Place to get away

We had an unbelievable time at the Buckley cabin. The place was immaculate. The host was great. The location was secluded and beautiful. We will definitely be coming back again.

Birthday Getaway

Wonderful getaway to experience part of the KY Bourbon Trail. Location was perfect, to visit many distilleries, local eateries and view charming Christmas decorations without the hustle and bustle of the city. Peaceful and relaxing. Owner stayed in contact to make sure we had everything needed for a wonderful stay. 5stars all the way !

Bourbon, Games & Relaxation – This Cabin Has It All!

Our stay at The Buckley was fantastic! The cabin had plenty of space for our group of guys on a Bourbon Trail trip, making it the perfect home base. There was so much to do—we enjoyed the poker table, the awesome garage-turned-game-room, and the relaxing hot tub. After a day of distillery visits, it was great to come back to such a fun and comfortable place. The peaceful surroundings and well-thought-out amenities made our stay even better. Highly recommended!

Beautiful and spacious with many activities

We'll be back! This house is beautiful and spacious with many activities to do on the grounds, both indoors and out. We loved seeing the cows across the street every morning. There are more restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive than we expected being that rural. Just be careful driving on those roads! Our itinerary included horse races at Keeneland (30 min) and Wild Turkey distillery tasting (15 min), so the location was great for our needs with 6 adults, a dog, and a baby.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay with our friends and family!

A truly amazing get-away in the most perfect home! We stayed in the Bourbon Trail Cabin with our close friends and family and we couldn't have asked for a better AirB&B. The cabin was incredibly clean, beautifully decorated and had plenty of space for 8 adults, 2 teenagers, an infant and our dog. Every detail was thought of; from the welcoming snack basket to the pet food bowls and dog bed. Between the game room, hot tub, huge porch and acres of land, there was always something to keep us busy. The hostess was fantastic; she was responsive and friendly and truly made us feel welcome in her home. We will most definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area!

What a lovely home! Our host was so welcoming and kept in touch all along the way, even checking in after we had arrived to make sure everything was ok. A welcome basket with snacks and drinks greeted us - what a lovely surprise. The home is impeccably decorated, and there are plenty of spaces to relax. We especially enjoyed the outdoor patio in the back and the screened porch in the front. Loads of bedroom space, fans in the rooms, fresh sparkling linens, and another sitting porch off the master. The kitchen is so well equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay, including a dual coffee maker and an equipped bar for mixing your own refreshing beverages. We enjoyed the books and info about the local sights, including tips on bourbon trail distillery tours and great local restaurants. We will definitely be back for another visit!

This was a perfect fit for our family group. The downstairs bedroom was convenient for my older parents to not have to climb stairs. The kitchen was well equipped for the meal preparations for our large group. We enjoyed the gas fire pit and hot tub - great for socializing in the evenings. Our son really enjoyed taking advantage of the pool table and playing Golden Tee in his spare time. The location was great - we made day trips to the further distilleries in Bardstown and liked having a couple of others within 15 minutes. The local winery was enjoyable - 5 minutes away and we brought home one bottle from them (will not comment on how many bourbon bottles came home). The owner was very responsive and extremely supportive when it came to shipping back a bin of items we accidentally left behind. I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone considering the area!
