“Stayed three nights in February. Please note that the camp is about 15 minutes drive from Wadi Rum Village and is not in the village as shown by the map. Apparently most of the camps in Wadi Rum do this is to stop guests trying to drive themselves to the real site and getting stuck in the sand! “It was our first time in Wadi Rum and we were a bit nervous about going into the middle of the desert with a stranger. However, Atallah immediately put us at ease and we had some tea and spoke with him. Then we took a jeep into the middle of the desert. I have never been surrounded by such silence, such stillness, and such beauty. It was really magical and I definitely recommend this experience to anyone.”
