Fireplace was functional and wood was provided. Nice big kitchen with lots of tools for cooking. Many open family areas to allow everyone to spread out. Large tables to accommodate our large group. Would definitely stay again.

This house was perfect for our family vacation, close to skiing and Deadwood. There was plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone and a playroom for the kids. Would definitely recommend for a big group!

We enjoyed our stay overall and appreciated the property’s size and potential. A few maintenance updates could make the experience even better for future guests: The Host was kind and helpful with our needs during our stay. Some deck chairs were damaged and could use replacement.Simplifying outdoor and indoor furnishings may be better than keeping items that are no longer in working condition.The propane tank was empty when we arrived, so we left a full one to help the next guests.The coffee pot could use a thorough cleaning, and the toaster was not functioning during our stay.The fireplace was not useable at the time we stayed as the ash duct was full ind needed empty.We know maintaining a large property can be challenging, and we hope these observations are helpful. With a few updates and repairs, this could be an even more enjoyable place for future visitors.

Family get together

We liked the rental and location. Was room for everyone so good for a larger group. It was an easy place to stage day trips to Rushmore, Spearfish, Crazy Horse or anywhere in the hills.

Perfect Family Getaway in the Black Hills

This cabin was the perfect spot for our family to stay together while exploring the Black Hills. Cozy, clean, and well-stocked—everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable trip. We loved the peaceful setting and easy access to all the local sights like Deadwood. Highly recommend!

Staycation/Vacation Destination

A scenic and peaceful location with a spacious cabin—perfect for a family staycation, or the seasonal visitors needing the a quiet space to return to after a day in the Hills . The cabin had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing weekend with friends and family. Whether you stay in and enjoy the cozy space or take short day trips into Lead and Deadwood, it's a great getaway. Our family was so happy with our stay!

We enjoyed this cabin for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. Enough rooms for our big family and all the amenities you need surrounded by the beautiful Black Hills.

Thankful

We had the best Thanksgiving weekend with our entire family. The cabin was so comfortable, & a great place to relax with the 3 generations of family! We even had a little bit of snow from Mother Nature to make a beautiful backdrop for pictures & fun sledding

Beautiful home, location was great, quiet no traffic. Had very nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Down stairs family room was huge. Plenty of table space for eating Bedrooms were in a wing so no noise in them. Two kitchens were good for cooking. Huge deck.
