First family vacation

This was the first time the whole family went on vacation together and we had a great time. The property was perfect, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Great stay

Our group of 12 had more than enough room. House is clean. Basement stays very cold but our kids didn’t mind it. Hot tub is big. Would stay again.

Great place for a long weekend

This was a great place to stay for a long girls weekend. The only downside was our hot tub did not work. We did end up using the lodge pool and hot tub.

Great for our little family reunion

Everything was great the property manager acknowledged our needs quickly. The loft is a little warm. Very quiet. We will be back again next year. We had 17 people total in this house. The kids loved the pool.

We had 5 couples and 3 individuals stay and fit comfortable, as well as plenty room to hang out eat, drink and enjoy the views, the community pool and hot tubs! The beds were comfortable and deck was great for morning coffee or mimosas! Plenty of room left over if we had brought the kids as well with the built in bunk beds. Next time!

A Blender, some baking/casserole dishes and wine glasses are things we would add to kitchen. Perfect for events in Lead and Deadwood and such easy access to the well maintained Mickelson trail. For activities going south: The Road construction June-July and ?Aug includes delays with lead cars makes HWY 385 toward Hill city & Keystone a road you want to avoid.Kids 3-13 and parents found the warm clubhouse pool still so fun when weather cooler.Area is quiet, relaxing and feels very safe. We saw deer and peacocks wandering in the neighborhood.

The outside grill and deck area needed some cleaning from the pollen or what ever was all over the grill. Dishwasher is still wobbly from last year too. Rooms with queen bunk beds is amazing and single king beds is outstanding. We did not use the garage. There is was hot water for 12 guys each morning. Entire house was clean. Directions how to leave the house when complete was very easy. We are all Veterans so we know how to leave a house better then we received it. Paula was very fast to contact me when i had a question. THis management company has been great for 7 years strong AND COUNTNNG!! See you next year!!!

Weekend Getaway

This is a beautiful home, nicely decorated and furnished. It is set up nicely for families as there are built in bunks in the bedrooms. Since it is a new build, there are still some things that need to be worked out and improved upon, but that will come. The heat circulation was not good, it was way to warm in the upstairs rooms, not bad on the main floor and down right chilly in the basement. There is a large ceiling fan in the loft area that did not work, which maybe would have helped. However we could not get it to work. We contacted the host and they brought new batteries which did not help. I am sure they will get this figured out in the future. The large hot tub was great! Nice place, I would recommend.

Misty mountain adventures

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve stayed at this cabin before and it works great for us due to location and size. People are just hard on things, had to turn on gas for the fireplace to work, tv remote control kept coming apart, hot tub cover was wrecked. Hot tub was dirty upon arrival and made weird noises. Had to go into town Monday only to find all the water drained from the hot tub so couldn’t use it that night. I did enjoy a clean hottub to drink my coffee the next peaceful morning. It is really hard to get out by 10 though. I usually leave the place just as clean, but didn’t this time because there was no laundry detergent left behind and had to get dishwasher tabs as there were none of them either. I plan to stay here again, so the things haven’t deterred me, but would prefer to have the home at the standard I’m used to. This is the best management company and I love working with them.

Lacking a few things

House was okay. The lack of closets for coats at the front door or clothes in the rooms was annoying. The dishwasher is not secured to the counter top making it hard to shut the door and it’s just shoddy craftsmanship. Many of the towel holders are loose and look sloppy. The upstairs MB vanity had two broken drawers and missing handles. There was not enough toilet paper, napkins, or paper towels. It sleeps 18, there should be more paper products. And nicer TP is always appreciated by people paying good money to stay a night. Also since that house holds so many people another refrigerator or two would be nice. A big one in the garage and a mini at the wet bar in the basement would be nice. Keeping food and drinks on the deck wasn’t ideal. Speaking of the deck- it needs lights. How are you supposed to hang out out there after dark when there is only one light next to the door? The basement also could use some supplemental heat. Overall it was an okay place but we have been renting cabins in the hills for 12 years, in comparison to the others we have stayed at these are the things we weren’t impressed with. Some are easy fixes, like more, better TP ;), and others are more long term goals and improvements but it was a great place for entertaining the crew and the views are great.

This met all of our expectations. We came as a friends group to celebrate 2 birthdays and an anniversary and there was plenty of room for 16 of us. The host was very easy to work with and we will definitely use them in the future!
