Cozy Little Apartment

Excellent Property, just note our comment on the view.

Our recent stay at this VRBO property was wonderful. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with a sense of warmth and mountain comfort that exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings truly set the tone for a relaxing and comfortable vacation. The property itself boasted modern amenities and was meticulously maintained. The small private outdoor space was a delightful bonus, featuring a well-maintained sitting area that allowed us to enjoy the beautiful weather and unwind in style. The only downside to this otherwise perfect getaway was the view—or lack thereof. While the interior of the property was great, the outside scenery left something to be desired. The window from the only bedroom overlooks a backyard that resembles a car junkyard. It's worth noting that the property description doesn’t highlight a view, so the description is accurate. That being said, we grew up in Leadville and would definitely rent here again. Despite the drawback of a less-than-ideal view, the overall experience was exceptional, and I would not hesitate to recommend this property to fellow travelers looking for a mountain retreat. Thank you for the great experience!

The Best Rental in Leadville

This space is perfect for 1 - 2 people for any length of stay. It was VERY clean, which is the most important factor for me. Everything I needed was provided - extra towels, plenty of paper products, and the most well-stocked kitchen I have ever had in a rental (even an air fryer!). There is plenty of parking and the owner is available anytime for questions.

Beautiful, modern space in Leadville. Well cared for and perfectly comfortable for 2 people. Figuring out where to park was a bit tricky in the snow and in the dark. The owner stopped by later to help us avoid the snowplow path.

Perfect for a quick stay in Leadville!

Such a cute space, and surprisingly spacious. We stayed for just one night but would have been happy staying longer - the hosts were great and the space was stocked with everything you could need. Highly recommend!

Pretty comfortable nest

It was quite nice, with a few exceptions Especially - I absolutely hate Direct TV. Actually so confusing, we couldn’t use it - unrecognizable channels. So no local news, no weather - which is super annoying during an outdoor adventure vacation.

Awesome stay, and within walking distance to downtown Leadville

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The place was very clean and tidy upon arrival and is very well-kept and maintained. There is a common area for outdoor dining and a handy bike rack to lock a few bikes. We would definitely book again given the chance to re-visit Leadville!

Quiet Stay at the Carriage House

The Carriage House was a great home away from home. The property is in a very quiet neighborhood on the west edge of Leadville, conveniently located across from trails and not far from the train. For those who enjoy cooking in, as we do, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you'd need, including all sizes of cookware, small appliances and abundant counter space for prep. We appreciate the finishing touches in tasteful decor inside and out (I love to sit at the patio table and watch the humming birds in the afternoon!), to make the studio homey and we love the large windows and skylights that flood the space with light. It was my husband's first trip to Leadville, and he appreciated the humidifier to help him sleep and keep him comfortable. We love this property and the owners, Deb and Marvin, who are very attentive and easy to interact with. Thank you for a wonderful stay; we can't wait to visit again soon!

Cozy and cute

The carriage house is as cute and comfortable as it looks in the pictures. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and items to cook with. There is a washer and dryer and the bathroom is loaded with shampoo/conditioner, body wash, lotion, etc. The location is great as it's just a couple of minutes from downtown and from the Safeway. We had excellent communication with the property managers who checked to make sure that we were settled in and didn't have any questions or issues. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect apartment with stunning views!

We were in town for a wedding at Freight and the apartment was in the perfect location - far enough from town that it was nice and quiet but close enough that everything was a short drive or even walking distance. The apartment came with tea and coffee and laundry detergent which was super helpful as well. Everything was very clean and just as pictured in the listing. 10/10 would recommend!

Perfect training base!

I went up to Leadville to train on the trails for a long weekend. This place was perfect. Clean, well appointed, private, quiet, close to trails, and close to town. The hosts were accommodating and responsive to any of my needs. The "cottage" was very comfortable with everything you would need for your stay (even a basket of treats). Definitely give it Five Stars... with the only note being that the bed is a full bed... so something for couples to think about before booking (the couch does fold out into a twin if needed).
