Venga a relajarse en esta casa de tres dormitorios y 2 baños. Ubicado al final de la carretera en una hermosa arboleda de pinos, a solo minutos de la cima del sendero Mount Elbert. Esta casa tiene todas las comodidades modernas al tiempo que ofrece un estilo de vida campestre. El hogar está a solo 10 minutos de Twin Lakes y 25 minutos de Leadville.

Great cabin in the woods for a getaway

This was a beautiful location for a quiet home, tucked away in the backwoods of Twin Lakes, which was a perfect location for our group of friends to spend time in nature together. The seven of us fit comfortably among the rooms, and there was ample space for hanging out between the dining room, living room, and basement areas. We loved that there was a ping-pong table and a perfect amount of space to set up our projector for playing video games together. We did not notice that there was no WiFi included at this spot, so be prepared to log onto a hotspot or just unplug from the internet altogether while you're here. All in all, we loved this place and would recommend it again!

Great Spot

Our group really enjoyed our stay here. We were able to easily access Leadville, Ski Cooper and the local reservoirs and it's apart of a great little neighborhood community. Quiet spot, and the grill and fireplace were a nice plus.

Guest Comfort Not a Priority

The property is gorgeous, the cabin is a good family spot– it’s clear that guest comfort is not a priority based on the neglect of the rental, amenities, and lack of cleanliness. I feel robbed having been charged a cleaning fee because I had to clean so much throughout the entire stay. I am more than happy to pay for a service, we did not receive any of that service. I reached out to the host at the end of our stay about all of the issues with photo proof of said issues and never heard back, had to contact Vrbo. We determined other guests had the same experience in recent months after reading the guest book. The host offered to have the cleaner come initially to clean the toilet, but we already had cleaned so our kids could use it and didn't accept the offer. We found new issues everyday through the stay which made it quite stressful. We had so many issues I can’t list them all, major problems were, previous guest’s trash was left for us to deal with, dog poop bags included, urine covered toilet, dirty dishes in the cupboard, all the pans were unclean and caked in food, few paper towels provided, no clean towels--all covered in dog/human hair, damp mildew towels in dryer , body fluid stain on comforter, stagnant rotting food and water in the dishwasher– it was extremely unkempt and I spent a large portion of my trip cleaning their cabin just so it was sanitary for my family. Beds and pillows, still not comfy. Cool place, poorly managed.

Family Vacation

Had a great time. One of the beds was broken, but made it work. Also towels were in the dryer when we got there, but it was more than a double load and they were still wet and had soured. None of this made our stay bad. My family had a blast and loved every minute of being there. Would stay again.

Twin Lakes

Property was very cheap so didn’t expect anything extravagant, but the property did not have basic supplies like trash bags or paper towels. There were only 5 clean bath towels, and all other towels and linens were wet in the washer and dryers. There were also dirty dishes in the oven upon arrive, as well as dirty appliances such as the skillet. Beds were clean, so that was nice!

Great cabin for family getaway

Cabin worked perfect for our family of 6 and the in-laws. Loft was great to give the kids some space after a long day of skiing. My only complaint is the master bed. It was really uncomfortable, on night 2 I ended up sleeping on the futon mattress in the livingroom which wasnt much better. My husband felt the same but no one else had issues with thier bed. We had a great time otherwise and the cabin was wonderful to use. Communication with owner was quick. Thanks for letting us use your vacay home!

Beautiful property

The property was beautiful. The cabin was nice and the ping pong table was extra fun. The only complaint I would have is the beds and pillows were uncomfortable. One of us ended up sleeping on the couch to get some sleep. I think some new pillows and some mattress toppers would make a world of difference. Also you definitely need an all wheel drive vehicle.

Great cabin nestled away

Great property in twin lakes. Cabin was quiet and met our needs. Only thing that would have been better is there was only one key to the house a second key would have been useful since we had two couples and separate cars but wasn’t that big of a deal.

Fun layout, lots of flexible space, a few things could have improved our experience

Pros: location, space, comfortable sleeps lots of people. Pingpong table is a fun touch. Cons: unable to use grill as both provided tanks were very low to empty. Some minor maintenance issues such as inoperable windows. Wasnt the cleanest, esp considering a several hundred dollar cleaning fee (for example, found a prior guest's leftover pizza in the fridge). Other notes: pack it in, pack it out policy on trash. Not a huge deal for a night or two, but something to consider especially for a longer stay.

Nice getaway

Nothing fancy, but just perfect for our needs. Takes some time to cool down using the a/c but the mountain air did the trick even in June when opening the windows. Kept clean. Kitchen had the basics we needed to cook with. Host was friendly. Grateful for the opportunity to stay here!

Nice cabin with a great view but needs some TLC.

The cabin is nice and peaceful. However, the basic amenities are worn out and badly need of replacement. The dishes and cookware are in bad shape. Some unusable. Lights were out in one bedroom and on the deck. Shower curtain barely hanging on in one shower. Towels were threadbare. No wash cloths. Pet hair all over the couches and got on our clothing. Sheets were not guest clean. Had to change bed before use. Hair and stains. Broken blinds, broken windows. Access to get into the cabin was difficult. Had to go all the way to the back door with no pathway to get keys. On the plus…great fireplace and enough room for 7. Nice neighbors. FOUR WHEEL DRIVE IS A MUST!
