We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. The home was ideally located for our hiking in Lost Maples State Park and met all our needs. Though we didn’t use the fire pit due to the winds, we appreciated the thoughtful preparations and provision of wood. The beds were especially comfortable, and the variety of pillow types was a welcome touch that made our sleep even better.

This country house was absolutely adorable & perfect for my family, we enjoyed the inside as much as the outside. It was close to where our extended family were staying along the river so it was so convenient. I would totally recommend & definitely stay there again.

Great short family trip! Hurricane stress relief!

Had the privilege of staying on the beautiful property with friends and my family, driving from Houston to het away from the Hurricane stress. House was awesome. Everyone had a blast, close to everything but far enough away at the same time!

Relaxing getaway

We had the best time! This was exactly what we needed the weekend before taking our youngest to his freshmen year at college. Cool mornings sitting outside watching deer/chickens. Easy access to Maegers Crossing and Garner State Park. Lots of family time around the farm table, and plenty of memories made. Hope to come back again!

Perfect getaway!

This was a great property in the perfect location! It had everything we needed to accommodate our group and was very clean. We were able to enjoy the river right down the road, check out garner, and even had a large yard to hang out and let the kids play. Would absolutely book here again!

Beautiful rustic charm

Super host provided a warm, welcome. Spacious & comfortable . Great outdoor setting for peaceful star gazing. Variety of games for loads of fun! Very close to Garner state park. Quick access to local shops and restaurants we loved it❤️ will be packing our bags and coming back for more R&R again soon !

Lots of quality family time!

This place was perfect for our group. The RV hook ups made it so that we could fit several families on the property. The kids ran around playing hide in seek and we played games at the big table in the house. We sat around the fire pit (no fire needed this summer!) and played music. You do have to drive down and park at the river but once we got our little system down it was super easy! The kids swam all the way up the river and explored. Super close to town for running errands too. Highly recommend!

House was well set up with plenty of seating, perfect for our group. Kitchen was extremely well stocked, plenty of games and books for all ages as well as a great outdoor space. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
