“Bourbon Trail Oasis at Boone Farm was a great spot for our family’s getaway. We enjoyed the peaceful quiet located a short drive from area attractions. We visited distilleries, hiked around Mammoth Cave, and had a day trip into Louisville, but were able to come back to the VRBO and simply relax.”

“The first room we were given had some weird splatter on the ceiling, tv and floor. There was also a wasp in the room. We asked for a diff room this one was much cleaner but smelt like cat pee.”

Our room was huge and very comfortable. Every detail in the house is stunning. We took time to look at everything inside and outside so that we could absorb the beauty of the home and property. “Sunny Side Up looks exactly like the photographs, only more charming in person. The main reason we chose Lebanon was its proximity to Maker's Mark and the Chihuly exhibition, however, it was a perfect home base for distillery tours in Lawrenceburg, Frankfort, Versailles and Cox's Creek. During our stay we were able to shop at the Sunny Side Saloon and have delicious cocktails at the Key Lounge and then walk around the corner to return to Sunny Side Up. “We stayed at the property while visiting distilleries in the area. It was perfect for us — 2 couples, no kids — each couple had their own bedroom & bathroom. We enjoyed evenings on the deck in back of the house and also having coffee & a quick breakfast on site before heading to our scheduled distillery visits. It’s a quiet, clean house and we enjoyed the rural setting and would book again when we’re in the area. Our hosts quickly responded when we had any questions.”

“We loved our stay at the Trail Hotel over Memorial Day weekend. We originally planned for two nights but had to extend our stay after our vehicle broke down and we couldn’t find a rental car or service because of the holiday weekend. The staff were incredibly kind, patient, and helpful throughout the entire situation. The hotel is a beautifully renovated former Holiday Inn that was transformed into a bourbon boutique hotel while keeping the original historic structure due to historical zoning....
