Fantastic holiday!

Dancer’s Cottage was everything it was advertised and more. Plenty of space to relax, beautiful surroundings, clea, charming and cozy! The host, Philippa, was extremely knowledgeable and responsive. We lived staying here!

Ideal place for large group

This is an outstanding property for a large group or family gathering. The house is very well equipped and comfortable, especially the bedrooms and bathrooms. The location is ideal for anyone wanting quiet country walks amongst wonderful countryside or as a base for exploring Cotswold villages and nearby towns. Good pubs close by but you must drive a few miles to buy provisions.

Amazing stay

Beautiful property, lovely, clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of space for all of us. Owners and management were a delight to deal with and couldnt have been more helpful. Special mention has to go to the baking that w gifted to us, uterly delicious!

Together with Family for Christmas

An ideal venue for a Family get together, after four years They travelled from China & Dubai . We were made very Welcome with a lovely cake & beautiful flowers & Christmas Tree Enjoyed the local walks . Had a lovely meal at The Swan on Christmas Eve . Highly Recommend this Cottage

Family pre-Christmas celebration

We had a wonderful stay at Dancer's Cottage located in a beautiful part of the Cotswolds we'd not explored before. Philippa our host could not have been more helpful, replying promptly and kindly to all the questions we had before our visit. We were delighted to find on our arrival that a lovely Christmas tree, cake, biscuits and flowers had been left for us by the owners to welcome us to the cottage. The cottage provided a cosy comfortable base for our weekend of pre-Christmas celebrations with three generations of our family some of whom had travelled from Australia. The kitchen was very well equipped and dealt with the making of a multi-element Christmas dinner very well, I love it when you visit a place that has scales, sharp knives and more than one potato peeler! The bedrooms were lovely and cosy, and the cottage was warm and clean. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

Idylic Cotswold break

Immaculate property, fully equipped with everything you could ever wish for. Such a beautiful setting, with fantastic pub within walking distance. (The Victoria). The house slept 12 of us comfortably with no compromises for anyone. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed and would return tomorrow. I would not hesitate to recommend this property or the property management to anyone.

Perfect family getaway

Check-in instructions were very clear. We arrived to a delicious home made cake. The property was exactly as described and very spacious - we had 11 adults and 2 infants stay and it never felt like anyone was on top of each other and we all had our own space. Lovely garden and surrounding rural setting next to the river. We didn't want to leave and we hope to visit again.

Great stay

The booking process and communication with Vrbo was great and the house was lovely. It’s very well set up and presented and worked well for my group. The living space with the sitting/dining was a bit cramped for 8 adults, toddler and baby but we made it work and it felt cosy for the February chill. It’s in a beautiful setting and loved the welcome cake

Cosy and well equipped

We absolutely loved our stay. The space was perfect for our 12 people and 2 dogs (enclosed garden too!) We were so pleased with how well equipped the cottage was (plenty of mugs, glasses, plates etc, firewood, and a delicious welcome cake!) - also the sound system and thoughtful extras. We had a great weekend!

A January Christmas !

We had an amazing stay at Dancers for a family Christmas catch up (5 adults, 3 children and 2 dogs). The cottage had lots of space, was really well equipped, really clean and we had a fantastic stay. A real treat having a home made cake on arrival - which didn’t last long! The hot tub was a welcome treat in the January cold weather. The surrounding area is beautiful and the Victoria Inn a ‘must’ visit. We went for a Saturday afternoon pint and a Sunday lunch. It was excellent. Thank you for such a fab stay and we hope to be back.

Fantastic place for a gathering

Great weekend with a group of friends (11 of us + dogs!). The house was beautiful and clearly very well kept. And the welcome cake was a delicious and welcome surprise! Would recommend.

Simply amazing

Beautiful serene location, nearby many areas to walk and cute villages to explore. Philippa gave a fantastic suggestion go to the Victoria Inn (among many other suggestions) and it was delightful. The roast was a must! The house itself has many rooms and fits 12 comfortably. There was everything you could think of in the kitchen if you wanted to stay home and cook, the log fire was cosy and there was a lovely cake made fresh that morning waiting for us as we arrived. I would come back again and again for my stays in the Cotswolds and would recommend to anyone who wants to visit.

Better than we could have expected

This beautiful property provided the perfect base/backdrop for a very special and emotional family gathering in support of our very poorly daughter. The service provided was excellent and thoughtful. The property was so versatile that even rooms had initially been allocated to our large party members some swapping around to accommodate special needs was possible. The weather allowed for the hot tub to be used and this provided added happiness. The property is very well equipped and the facilities it offers are of top quality. Catering was no problem and the security of the site meant that our dogs and little children were safe which in turn allowed owners/parents to relax. Location is very good for walks and our main gathering at the Cotswold Wildlife Park was easily reached even when running a little late! Thanks so much to Phillipa for help and pleasant communications.

Fabulous!

From check in to check out the property is 5 star ! The house is spotless and supplied with everything you need and more . We were a party of 11 adults and had plenty of space to chill together or separately and the garden is large enough to play badminton.

Excellent stay in the Cotswolds

We had an excellent stay at Dancers Cottage. It was great property for our large family gathering over Christmas. Everything was very clean and spacious. Communication with the property manager was excellent. We'd love to stay again!
