Relaxing Vacation.

The cottage is beautiful and well equipped. The beds were extremely comfortable and the host was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Just a short drive into Gananoque. Wonderful vacation. Highly recommend.

Pleasant and relaxing stay

Enjoyed our stay. Very nice property. Beautiful morning mist on the river. Good trails close by. A bit close to road and traffic if looking for solitude.

Hosting first time Canadian Visitors

Our friends from Kentucky visited Canada for the first time and we hosted at this amazing location. From the moment we walked in, an amazing welcome basket in the kitchen, we felt at home. All the amenities were present and we had an fantastic time. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a cottage to spend time at while still being close to town.

Beyond Our Expectations

We were 5 friends getting together for a couple of days to relax and get caught up with each other. This property met all our expectations; it was clean, comfortable, beautiful decor, comfy beds, soaking tub and walk in shower, amazing view of the fall colours and river and so much more. Sitting by our night time campfire roasting hot dogs and marshmallows was definitely a highlight of our visit. We will be definitively booking again.

The perfect spot!

Riverside Retreat was the perfect place for a relaxing few days to catch up with friends visiting from out of country. We spent a lot of time on the riverside deck, enjoying the river and beautiful surrounding greenery. The place is cute, clean, and the beds comfortable. Everything is there that you would need, including to cook meals, altho for dinners we took the short drive into beautiful Gananoque to explore. Kylie is the perfect host, always accessible and very easy to deal with. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice relaxing escape!

Incredible vacation getaway

This property was meant for us to have peaceful accommodation during a home renovation but it turned out to be a wonderful retreat. The property is beautiful. The home is stunning and not one amenity was missed. Every single detail was thought of in a meaningful way. It’s is close to Kingston and Gananoque but just far enough to feel the unwind. I cannot thank the owners enough for helping us out during a difficult time as well. Don’t miss out on this spot!

Wonderful Memories

We just got home from a few days here along the Gananoque River and I can honestly say that we had a wonderful time. Our girls loved the river and spent hours fishing and canoeing and kayaking and swimming. It was totally quiet and there was no one around, just fresh air and the sounds of birds and frogs. The cottage itself is very comfortable and we all had a great sleep there, the AC works very well. It also a short drive from anything you’d need in Gamanoque. Our favorite restaurant was Riva, they have a fantastic patio. The cottage is close to the road but it’s not busy at all and you can hear the cars coming a long ways away. There are hiking trails at the Marble Rock conservation area just down the road. It’s a wonderful spot for a river experience that’s not at all out of the way.

We loved this cottage for our family stay. Everything was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. The view of the river is very nice from the big windows. There are plenty of Adirondack chairs. The wifi was good inside the cottage. We used the kayaks on the quiet river. The yard is not steep at all to the dock, making it easy for our elderdy. Because of the fire ban, we did not use the area with the fireplace at night, but the gazebo was awesome for evenings without bugs!The hosts answered all questions quickly before our stay and informed us of last minute updates.
