HOT TUB!! couldn’t wait!!Well, I’ve tried to tell my story and have run out of room because I only have so many letters I can use. Bummer. I have to give a very shortened rundown of my horrible experience with, what I believe, is a seemingly dishonest property manager and Vacasa’s blind trust in him. I would love for you all reading this to know exactly how many phone calls, emails, texts, accusations, apologies, frustrations, and lies that were told. All over a stinky, dirty hot tub we called about within 20 minutes of arriving on the property. Took pics as dated proof. In the end NOTHING was ever done about it. Oh yeah, except I was blocked from renting any more Vacasa properties. All Because I tried to get something fixed. 20 minutes after I’m blocked the property manager shows up under the guise of wanting to secure items around the home because of the hurricane coming in a couple days. I tell my wife to film. He moves plastic chairs from one part of the yard to another (leaves others still unsecured) then guess what? He makes his way to the hot tub and…with a woman stepping between the camera and him, stands at the controls for a few minutes then puts the jets on high and leaves….so fast that he doesn’t even shut tight the door he came in. The unmistakable smell of chlorine fresh in the air soon after. Can’t be within 25 feet of the thing without smelling it. How about that??? How does operating the controls on the hot tub help secure it from a hurricane? Maybe securing the lid (didn’t happen)? Again I wish you could know the FULL story. Since I can’t tho, I’ll move on. There were dead bugs in the hallway, this old house smelled like moth balls, under the grill was a leaky water valve, several power strips, and grease caked all over them.Fire hazard waiting to happen. Conditioner bottles were so old the water had separated from the solidified goo left over. The master bed was awful. I would LOVE VRBO to have the ability to edit or respond to what this property manager or Vacasa is going to reply over this….folks, just ask yourself, if I’m lying, why would I waste hours of my vacation time trying numerous ways, and multiple times trying to get the tub repaired?? To take pics and videos when I started smelling something fishy going on? Then taking the time to rewrite this review several times to get the word out? I must say I’m glad I take arrival and departure videos of places I stay because I do not trust this company or manager!
