Great value based on the price. The rooms are old and tired with some marks that look like mould and rust but might be mostly age related. The first room I was shown smelled like it had been locked up for ages. As I have allergies I asked to see another room and was taken to the. One across the road and down a lane off Gaelic lane. This was better for me. I felt safe (traveling alone) there was a guard at the top of the road that led to a courtyard so traffic was minimal. Breakfast was basic but fulfilling. What can you expect for the $50 a night I paid.
If you’re on a budget it’s great but if you are a clean freak it might not suit. From what I could tell it was clean just didn’t look it due to age marks.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Vocation amazing. Everything you need without about 200 metres, beach, day spas, restaurants, shopping
