Central to four market towns – Market Harborough, Melton Mowbray, Uppingham and Oakham (all of which are within 10 miles). Also just 10 miles away is the city centre of Leicester with the National Space Centre. The nearest village is Billesdon, just 5 minutes in the car and has a wonderful village shop, doctor's surgery, post office, two pubs, an Indian restaurant, church and community centre with tennis courts. Rutland Water is just 12 miles away, where you can sail, cycle, bird watch, fish along with enjoying a super aquatic children's play area.
